There are three that bear witness in heaven: the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit; and these three are one.
1 John 5:7
The Trinity is to be worshipped: "Praise Father, Son, and Holy Ghost," the doxology lauds.
Petitioning the Father acknowledges His right to rule and decide in all matters.
Glorifying Jesus the Savior is exalting Him who died that we might live.
Honoring the Holy Spirit is giving place to His workings in and through our lives.
