Do you believe the White Horse in Revelation 19:11 should be taken literal, symbolic or both? Explain your reasoning and keep the conversation in love.

Revelation 19:11
"And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war." KJV

So many take the book of Revelation to be symbolic but I for one believe it to be literal. A revelation....Revelation is the act of revealing or disclosing, or making something obvious and clearly understood through active or passive communication with the devine.

God has given chance after chance after chance for non believers to come to know him, and this time will be the absolute last chance that they have. Those left behind after His second coming will have one more chance to accept Him and will see many things that our minds can only imagine.

I believe it is literal, and symbolic

When Jesus rode the donkey into Jerusalem, the donkey represented the heart of a servant.
Jesus came then to serve, and not to be served.
He came to die in our place.

In Revelation he Comes on a White horse, also symbolic ,in tradition ,of a conquer.
He will rule with a rod of iron.
Literal ,but also symbolic.
When he comes again he will come as King of Kings, and Lord of Lords.

I think its both as well, could be literal, could be symbolic. The idea here is that he is coming with an army from heaven. Armies at the time of John road horses. God spoke to the prophets in a way they could understand the things of their time. So that's why it doesn't say he's coming in a Tank One prophet says the saints will overcome with sling stones....

Zec 9:14 And the LORD shall be seen over them, and his arrow shall go forth as the lightning: and the Lord GOD shall blow the trumpet, and shall go with whirlwinds of the south.
Zec 9:15 The LORD of hosts shall defend them; and they shall devour, and subdue with sling stones; and they shall drink, [and] make a noise as through wine; and they shall be filled like bowls, [and] as the corners of the altar.
Zec 9:16 And the LORD their God shall save them in that day as the flock of his people: for they [shall be as] the stones of a crown, lifted up as an ensign upon his land.

I'm pretty sure the above is an end time prophecy, but not completely sure. Any way i think my point was taken. And Jesus also warned us not to go after any Christ that shows up. Because he will be coming with clouds from the sky, no other way is possible. Or you could end up following a false Christ with similar powers as him. Christ gives a strong warning here, that he is coming with the clouds of heaven, no other way.

God bless
