There is an important truth about words that we need to realize and that is that words can and do manifest. 1 John 3:8 says, He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. Notice, it says that Jesus was manifested, you and I were born, but Jesus was both born and manifested. That's why John 1:14 call him the word made flesh, because he was spirit(word) first manifested in the flesh. 1John 1:1,2 says, That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life; 2 (For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us.) What was with the Father in the beginning is the word, John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. So, know and understand this that spiritual can become material. See, your words produce fruit. What's the proof, Jesus, he said words are seeds. Well, seeds produce something, seeds become something. All material originates from the spiritual.
And notice how the scriptures references, if you have faith as a seed, because seeds produce. Seeds bring things into physical manifestation, because seeds are a product of something. A rose seed is a product of a rose. Look at what the scripture says, faith is the substance of things, get that. Just like a seed is the substance of something, he's saying faith is the substance of something hoped for and the evidence of something not seen. So, just like a seed is the product of something faith is the product of something. So, when you have a seed you understand there was something before that seed. So likewise, when you have faith, say faith for healing, understand there's healing before that faith. The thing has to be first in order to have the product of it. Notice, it says faith is the substance of, so there has to be something there in order to be the substance of it. So, you can't put faith in the future, you can't operate faith in the future, because that is saying that the thing is not done yet and if the thing is not done yet how can I have the substance of it. The thing is in spiritual form. And that makes faith easy or easier, because how can something be impossible if it already exists, if it exists then it's not impossible. And what faith does is brings the spiritual into the material world.
Words are things they are just in a different form. Like a rose seed is a rose, it becomes a rose, it's just in a different form as a seed. When it grows you will see the full manifestation of what that seed is. Words are things and if you look up the words- thing and words in the Strongs Concordance they are the same word. Because, words are things and words become things in manifestation. Words are invisible, but they take on substance. That's why the word says, Luke 6:45, A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh. What he brings forth is words and that scripture calls words things. God put in the creation the ability to bring forth after it's kind. In other words frogs brings forth frogs, horses brings forth horses. Now, man comes from God, what does God bring forth, words so what does man bring forth, we just saw. Everything produces like what it comes from, God put that in the creation. Notice, what came out of God in Genesis 1, words and those words are responsible for creation. Well, in that same chapter didn't God say, "Let us make man in our image and after our likeness." So, since everything in creation brings forth that has to include man the same way God does, where he came from does. Remember, everything brings forth like what it comes from. So then, man brings forth like how God brings forth, by words.
God Blessed man, "Be fruitful", which means to bring forth. That takes us back to what Jesus said in Luke 6:45, but notice what comes out of man are words. Man is spirit so what comes out of him has to be spiritual. Notice, in Colossians 1:16 it says, For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him. And of course, we know that is referring to Jesus(the word made flesh). So, something spiritual made all things. Notice, what it says in Hebrews 11:3, Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear. Someone probably is saying, "That was God", yes and it's also about you because it is also showing you something about you. That's not just showing you God because in Genesis 1:11,12 God brought the trees and grass and every plant into physical existence by his words. But, in Genesis 1:29 God gave Adam the seeds of his creation. And now those seeds bring those trees and grass and every plant into the earth. The seeds now do what the word did. And now God's word is the seed that I plant in me and bring forth. In Mark 4:14,15 it says, the seed is the word of God and the place where the seed is sown is the heart of man. And according to the scripture the word of God is the power of God (Romans 1:16). And that's what man brings forth, the fruit of the seeds he sows.
So, if I need healing then I find the seeds of healing and plant and water those seeds and God gives the increase (1Corinthians 3:6,7). Proverbs 4:20-23 says, My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. 21 Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. 22 For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh. 23 Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life. That word health is translated as medicine, healing, remedy, and cure. If the word can become flesh then the word can fix , heal flesh. We are talking about the word of God becoming what it says in your life. In John 1:14 when it calls Jesus the word made flesh it means that the word became what it said. But, for the word to become what it says someone had to speak it. Isaiah 55:10,11 For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: 11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. But, for all that to happed the word must be spoken.
It is not God's will that any should perish. And I wouldn't want to end this article without giving someone the opportunity to receive Jesus as their Lord and Savior. It's very easy just pray: Dear God- I know I have sinned and I now turn from them and I invite Jesus to come into my heart (Revelation 3:20). He died for my sins and you have raised him from the dead and I now confess that Jesus is my Lord and Savior (Romans 10:9,10). I thank you for saving me, Amen
But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name (John 1:12). 1 Timothy 2:4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. 2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
