God's word can handle your condition, no matter what it is. God works through his word, you see that when you see Jesus. You see him healing with his word, well Jesus said, "I only say what my Father tells me," so whatever he said was a word from God. And you see when a leper came to him to be cleansed he spoke, "Be clean." And the man was cleansed, that was God's word to the man. You see in John 5 a man had a condition for 38 years where he could not walk and Jesus commanded him, to rise, take up his bed, and walk and the man took up his bed and walked. Notice, when Jesus friend Lazarus was sick almost to death they sent word to Jesus and he told the messenger that his sickness would not be unto death. And Lazarus died, but the word was it will not be unto death so even though he was 4 days dead and his body decaying the word is still good. So, Jesus had a right to raise him up because that was the word. It makes no difference what we know the word can work far beyond what we have knowledge of. For instance, we now you need something from a man and something from a woman to produce a child. But, God being who He is declared, "Behold, a virgin shall conceive and bare a son." That goes against everything we know about reproduction, but God is not limited to what we know.
There's a very interesting portion of scripture I'm familiar with because it's how I received healing. In Proverbs 4:20-22 20 My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. 21 Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. 22 For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh. Notice, his word is health to all your flesh and the word health is translated medicine, healing, remedy, and cure. Proverbs 12:18 says, the tongue of the wise is health. Proverbs 16:24 Pleasant words are as an honeycomb, sweet to the soul, and health to the bones. God's word in your mouth brings healing to your body. When the word is in your heart and you speak it out of your mouth it will bring healing to your body. Look at Abraham and Sarah, God told Abraham that through him and his wife his descendants would be as numerous as the stars in the sky. But, in Romans 4:19 it tells us that his body was dead and her womb was dead. So, what did God do He gave them a word to speak. He changed their names from Abram-high father to Abraham- father of a multitude and from Saria-my princess to Sarah-princess of nations. And through that word they became strong in faith, Rom. 4:19 19 And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sarah's womb. And for her, Heb. 11:11 Through faith also Sara herself received strength to conceive seed, and was delivered of a child when she was past age, because she judged him faithful who had promised. Notice, how you receive from God in Romans 10:10 it says, For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. With the heart you believe and with the heart confession(to say the same thing) is made unto salvation. The word salvation means healing, deliverance, safety, preservation.
The scriptures backs that up, Proverbs 12:6 The words of the wicked are to lie in wait for blood: but the mouth of the upright shall deliver them. Proverbs 12:18 There is that speaketh like the piercings of a sword: but the tongue of the wise is health. Proverbs 14:3 In the mouth of the foolish is a rod of pride: but the lips of the wise shall preserve them. There's a reason for that Isaiah 55:11 says, So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. Abraham and Sarah their mouth was their medicine, a word from God in their mouth was their medicine. Nothing against doctors or medicine, but don't exclude God out of the equation. The one that can handle anything and everything with a word. There's nothing wrong with going to the doctor, but that's not all there is. There's another level where your flesh has no say in the matter, because God's word can not fail, if he spoke it the body is subject to it. He is Jehovah Rapha The Lord who heals or our healer. It's in his nature to do good, that's who He is and if someone has a problem with that then that's your issue. Don't judge God based on circumstances, just because somebody didn't receive healing doesn't means it wasn't his will for them to be healed. The Bible tells us it's God's will that all be saved and that nobody perish, but it also says in the day of judgement there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth and that people are going to be cast into outer darkness. We have to do our part just because it's his will doesn't mean it will just happen just because it's his will. You don't have to read far to see that, "Adam don't eat from this tree," but did Adam eat from the tree, yes. Was his will done just because it was his will, no. Don't put everything on God man has a part to play.
It is not God's will that any should perish. And I wouldn't want to end this article without giving someone the opportunity to receive Jesus as their Lord and Savior. It's very easy just pray: Dear God- I know I have sinned and I now turn from them and I invite Jesus to come into my heart (Revelation 3:20). He died for my sins and you have raised him from the dead and I now confess Jesus is my Lord and Savior (Romans 10:9,10). I thank you for saving me, Amen
But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name (John 1:12). 1 Timothy 2:4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. Romans 5:8-10 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. [9] Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. [10] For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life. 2 Peter 3:9 King James Version 9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
