-A personal thing to me, is when i have what i like to call "beautiful moments." They're when i get an overwhelming feeling of wonder, joy, excitement
(basically everything good) all bunched into one, until i'm shuddering with happiness and contentment. These moments are when i feel closest to God,
i believe they are God himself feeding His joy (with me and all His children) into my heart. It's a time where he pours all the positive feelings
of anything good that happens in the world into me, it's how i can see the good in the world when everything is chaos these days. This is the best i can do
to explain these feelings i get, they're too amazing to fully describe. Sometimes these feelings come in a different form. They sometimes happen during
a time when i'm exposed to something powerful or sad. I get this feeling like my soul and the souls involved with these powerful/sad moments are joined.

It's like i'm overly sensitive to the emotions going on in these moments. I just FEEL. Wow it's really hard to explain, all i can say is it's amazing.
This is God showing Himself to me, it's God showing the world to me so i am aware of the feelings and emotions of others, so i can understand and feel for them.
I'ts like the song "Give me your eyes" on the christian radio station KLove. He sings about God giving him His eyes so he can see what is going on in the world
and care for the people in need, so he isn't just caring about himself anymore. One of the more recent "beautiful moments" i've had was when my family and i were
going out to dinner. It was a dark, cloudy evening. My window was rolled down like i like to do (i'm like a dog that way haha). I was looking out at the sky,
the way the clouds were arranged so amazingly and beautifully, the way the cool wind blew in my face, i listend to KLove on the radio, and....I FELT.
That's all i can say besides what i already have, I FELT..all the goodness of God and what He created, and the goodness of the promise
that He made to us...that an eternity is awaiting all of His children that believe in His Son as their savior. An eternity that is more beautiful, more
tranquil, more wondrous, more joyful, more fantastic, more AMAZING (believe me i could keep going haha) than we can ever imagine.

-The majesty of life is too amazing, too precise, too perfectly designed not to be from a divine creator
-I see God in a child's smile, in the compassion of a community to get together and help someone in need, in a program of Planet Earth, in a love story,
in the sky, in my "beautiful moments," in a group of people at a christian concert all raising their hands, with closed eyes and tranquil expressions
or bright eyes and proclaiming their praise, to God!
-But because of Satan and the fall of man, there is evil all over (even more these days). Evil has been in the world ever since. This is a world without God,
that has turned it's back on God. However, God loves us so much that He wants us to come back to Him, so He gave His Son Jesus to be a sacrifice.
Such a sacrifice allows us to become pure and holy again, and back in a relationship with God that we were meant to have. All we need to do is accept what Jesus
did for us, believe it and believe in Him, and we can come back to God. It's a beautiful thing, a relationship with God...the most amazing thing there is!!
-If we find ourselves with a desire that nothing in this world can satisfy, the most probable explanation is that we were made for Another World - C.S. Lewis

- If the earth tilted just one mile to the sun we would fry, one mile away we would freeze

Johannes Kepler has this crazy idea about an elliptical orbit that seems to disagree with your assertion.

- Every step of the galaxy was perfectly formed, the balance of matter to anti-matter had to be accurate to one part in ten billion to sustain life

Whats a "step" of the galaxy?

- The chances that we could live in such an environment..one in one billion

Based on. . . .?

- And think...one in one trillion

Based on. . . .?

- The chances we would be able to have a conscience and discern right from wrong, the odds are one in one nonillion

?

- When you take a protein, the amino acids have to be arranged perfectly, the laws of modern science can't do it, the probability of protein forming by
chance...10 to the sixty forth power by one

Since organic molecules are regularly observed to assemble simply by virtue of their chemistry I find this assertion, and it's accompanying made up statistic, rather hard to swallow.

- The DNA in every single human is so astronomically complex that no ammount of computation could ever bring it together so perfectly

Which makes sense, seeing as it wasn't "computed" into existence.

-There are so many scientists who see the marvels and complexities of this world and conclude that divine design must be the cause of it all

Try less than 1% of professional biologists.

-There is no meaning to life without God, being born to struggle aimlessly throughout life, only to die in the end...not much of a life, not much of anything in
my opinion

Reality is under no obligation to conform to our opinions.

-Try and put your arms around a 100 year old tree

-Stop and think about what you don't understand, things like life and love and how the world began

Okay. . .why am I doing all this again?

-But if you want to shoot that theory down, look around, just look around

Emotions do make for particularly accurate explanations.

-There IS a God, how much proof do you need?

Any at all would be nice.

-People deify science at the expense of human truth

What's "human truth"?

-how can animals have the instincts to do certain things, how do they know when they don't have as complex minds as we do,

Because that's what instincts are - there's plenty of research on the subject you can access fairly easily if you're interested in learning about it.

1) all those things are from a movie ya know, "The Genius Club," you should check it out. The woman who says them is a scientist in the movie, and i just thought they sounded really cool and interesting (and good for proving God's hand in the world).

2) Did you really have to ask what a step is? just every part of the known (and unknown-since God made it all and its all perfect even if we havent discovered it all yet) galaxy.

3) Im sure she wasnt talking about any organic molecules, but PROTEINS. A specific thing, that is very complex, so by its complexity is deemed to be an extremely, incredibly rare thing to come into existence by itself.

4) The DNA thing is saying that all we've discovered and learned about DNA, is soo sooo complex, that a computer can't recreate DNA so perfectly as its found in the natural world.

5) The scientist thing- i wasnt talking about just biologists, i was talking about multiple types of scientists. Im talking about astronomers and mathematicians, and physicists, and others.

6) An existence in a lonely, silent space, where we are born, struggle, then die, doesnt just seem terribly sad, but its pointless. Where..is..the..point..in..that. There isnt one. Why is there life??? why is there all of this universe and space??, why is there an earth that has people and creatures living on it?? Because God exists and created it under his design. This existence makes sense, because God gives us a purpose. We are His children, and He is our Father, in a close, loving relationship.

7) when u said why am i doing all this? That's a song by Lee Ann Womack called "There is a God." She's singing about all these amazing things, to show that God is behind them all. Look around and you'll see the proof of God. The planet is the proof of God.

8) And "whats human truth?" It's our search for meaning, its us questioning "whats our purpose?" and "why are we here?" We use science to explain it for us, ppl dont want to except God being behind our meaning and purpose, they dont want to have to answer to Him. Well they will in the end, no unrighteous act will go unquestioned.

9) Yes we have studies on animal instincts. But deep down, seriously...how can a person, let alone an animal know something inside them instinctively that they werent told? How..do..they...know?

10) About the C.S. Lewis quote- But ppl have a feeling deep inside at times, a hole in themselves if you will, that no matter what they try, they cant seem to find anything that will take away that feeling. A restlessness, a yearning in the soul, that this earth cant satisfy. Only God and our eternal home, where we were meant to be, can do it.

Im an 18 yr old girl and doing the best i can here, i just wanted to share interesting things, and share my feelings.

Yes but. . .they're pretty much all completely wrong and/or made up.

2) Did you really have to ask what a step is? just every part of the known (and unknown-since God made it all and its all perfect even if we havent discovered it all yet) galaxy.

Aha, then that would be wrong as well.

3) Im sure she wasnt talking about any organic molecules, but PROTEINS.

Proteins are organic molecules.

4) The DNA thing is saying that all we've discovered and learned about DNA, is soo sooo complex, that a computer can't recreate DNA so perfectly as its found in the natural world.

Except that DNA is very very far from perfect, computers model DNA all the time, and it appears that our DNA is the result of millions of years of random variation and natural selection.

5) The scientist thing- i wasnt talking about just biologists, i was talking about multiple types of scientists. Im talking about astronomers and mathematicians, and physicists, and others.

Then you're up from an utterly negligible minority to a slightly less negligible minority.

Where..is..the..point..in..that. There isnt one.

Why is the universe obligated to have a purpose which you would find emotionally comforting?

Why is there life??? why is there all of this universe and space??, why is there an earth that has people and creatures living on it?? Because God exists and created it under his design.

What makes you say that?

The planet is the proof of God.

How so?

8) And "whats human truth?" It's our search for meaning, its us questioning "whats our purpose?" and "why are we here?"

How is that a "truth"?

9) Yes we have studies on animal instincts. But deep down, seriously...how can a person, let alone an animal know something inside them instinctively that they werent told? How..do..they...know?

Genetics.

Oddly enough, people who belong to other religions say the exact same thing. They also claim that only their god(s) can fill this emotional void. How am I to differentiate between them?

Not trying to be mean, but many of the claims you made in your original post were just flat out wrong which means that whomever gave you that information is lying to you.

Why is it that you are trying to disprove what i say so hard? Most of my original post were my heartfelt feelings on the subject. The rest is from movies and a song, they just seemed like good examples to show God's existence.

Movie 1: even if all those statistics are wrong, im sure there are real ones out there that are similar, plus truly those dont matter as much. Believing in God is something that has nothing to do with science. It's beyond that, it's faith, its trust. It's a beautiful thing, and I don't need scientific fact to prove my God exists. He put the love He has for me in my soul from the moment I was born, it's just up to every person to choose to recognize what this feeling deep inside really is for him/herself. Too many choose to ignore it, they feel they dont need it, and therefore they become hardened to it. You have to take the leap towards God, to truly understand things that you just can't as a person who doesnt believe in Him. Once you take that leap, He changes you, He cleanses you, and there are things that you can see and feel and understand afterwards that you couldn't before. It doesnt sound as good here as typed words on a forum to me, in my heart is where it feels real.

Movie 2: (the quote about deifying science) Forget about trying to analyze the quote, it means that people are afraid of God's truth. They turn to science to explain everything about their world, they want to be the ones who say how everything is the way it is. They dont want to be responsible to God, they want to do anything they want and not have to answer to Him. It's barbaric and selfish, people think they can murder someone, have sex with anybody they can find, cheat, steal, lie, etc. as much as they want without having to explain themselves. God's plan for the world was beautiful and perfect and pure, but the devill in all his evil persuaded us to be evil as well. Now we like nothing better than to have our way, get what we want, no explanations, no responsibility.

Song: This song show's the simple and complex beauty of the world. When i look at things like this, I see serenity and love, and God is love. Every time i hear this song i shudder in amazement, i actually started to tear up writing the lyrics haha.

The rest of it comes from my own heart and soul. True and sincere words of my being. That is all i can say. I dont know, but i suppose a person who doesnt believe hasn't been opened up to all these emotions....yet :) How bout we quit the bantering here, i dont want it to turn into some sort of argueing match. I believe i've said all i can say. I would ask that you not respond again unless you happen to feel a certain tugging in your heart that is God telling you to come home. :) As heartfelt as i can make it out to you, God bless you and keep you safe, may you find your way to the shelter of His wings.
