There is chat and then there is hell

No one has been on too much with the chats at talkjesus, so I decided to find a spot where where was always full chat. I logged into Yahoo Chat and found to my disgust, a web site that uses no contol measures at all. I can't get some of these gruesome images from my mind. They have the whole gammit of religious spoils,(they are definetly spoiled). Even thier names are cussing. If anyone with knowledge of the word and can speak well, I bet it woud help if you could fight satan there. It is the door of Lucifer, I promie you. Can you understand that satan is using the yahoo venue, to send some of his strongest angels, to confuse and scare away, someone that missed the chance of having an honest and righteous person. How many folks go to thse chats, only to have their whole faith warped by a false angel of the light . I am really concerned about this chad. It seems to me that all of the truly christian sites, could get thier monitors. to pop in and out. I am not able to fight it too much, except for the odd scripture, it is past my my head.
This is a horrible situation and it isn't monitored.
Anyway that we at chatjesus could help?
The timid and quiet ones just come in to lecture. It must be tearing people away from the Christline.

I'm very much a quiet person and I'm only really comfortable talking about our Lord and Savior and his ways. To many times in the past I have witnessed misuses of the Chat rooms and I agree with you that the Yahoo Chat rooms are a mess. I'll try and be more available here for you pixie, I know by past conversations with you in the Talk-JESUS chat room that we are in agreement on what kind of chats should occur here at Talk-JESUS.

I read in the newspaper a couple of months ago, that the U.S. Government (Federal Trade Commission) had ordered Yahoo! to clean up those chat rooms.

No doubt, the Federal Trade Commission has its own web site. Concerned Christians should storm that website and demand action to follow up and make certain that Yahoo! does clean up their act.

Amen: but some get a little of the word, and better understanding...but only from the saved. That chat is a mixture of all Denominations and the unlearned. So, better know the word, or at least be able to defend it, if we disire to enter there. And of coarse, show the love of Christ...

:rose: Thanks a lot for your input. I guess there really isn't much to do, except lobby for changes to the yahoo chat. Christians are getting browbeaten now, I have seen on Yahoo chat. They argue for freedom of expression. A satanist will argue that he has every right to be on a Christian chat. Thank goodness for the saftey of talkjesus. There are so many fledgling Christians that get on Yahoo chat and are bewildered at the hostile animosity and perversity that comes from these chats. Even so called christians are evil minded.
One does have to have knowledge of the Lord to be at Yahoo chat and would have to be prepared to defend our Lord, with scripture verse or praise. It hardly seems productive, yet there are Christians in that cesspool. I hope and pray that they are not discouraged. So called Christians will tell a simple believer that their understanding of the bible is rot and not quoted anywhere. I have seen it at the few times I went to yahoo chat.
On a positive note for chad and talkjesus, my children DO NOT want me on yahoo chat. They love me being at talkjesus. It is so funny how they are so sentimental about your site chad. They do not like yahoo chat and are always keying in talkjesus for me. Out of the mouths of children, the truth speaks for itself.
Sad situation yahoo chat. Wish I could take every true believer in their chat rooms and bring them to safety here. Amen: Pixie:rose:

Thanks for thread pixie! It is a great reminder to us that there is still much we should be doing for our LORD and savior in a world of creatures so bent on their own distruction.
