Third Day Concert ~

Saturday night was one awesome experience. I went to Six Flags & saw Third Day in concert. It was a very worshipful set list. The lead singer preached a lil' between songs, and really got the crowd goin'. They sang one of their new songs from their album that is being released in November. The name of it was "Communion"...it made some people cry because it was so beautiful. Gives me chills just thinking about it. It made me realize how much we need one another for support & to help each other through life. I can't wait until it comes out!
I was pretty bummed out though. I had an opportunity to meet the band, but the time got changed & I got there about an hour late. It was like everything that we were told changed, time-wise. I missed the first 3 songs of the show. Nevertheless, it was lovely. Everytime I go to a concert like that, I feel so at home, being with fellow Christians just worshiping. These 2 kids in front of me kept raising their hands like the other fans in worship...so precious.
I met 2 fellow fans before the concert, Autumn & Brittanie. They were both so sweet and I really enjoyed hanging out with them. They are originally from here but drove from TN.

I LOVE third day, but have never managed to get hold of one of their albums .
its sounds like you had a lovely time.i wish id have been their!!!
i remember my first music concert, i was so amazed!! i loved the experience; LOAD DEAFENING music, LOADS of people, and i was with my friends, which made it even better! i enjoyed it so much, but haven't managed to go to any lately as all my favorite bands are american...ie.Toby Mac, KJ52, the elms, the grits, the cross movement...etc.
its been lovely responding to your post, i would love to chat to you some more about music, especially third day.
Their lyrics are so deep and pierce me right to the bone sometimes. my favorite song is 'consuming fire', an old one!

I now, the lyrics they write really hit home with me...I don't think there is a song by them that I don't like! lol "Consuming Fire" is AWESOME.
I've never heard of The Grits, I'll check them out. TobyMac has a new cd comin' out, and I heard the first song, it is GOOD. Have you heard it?
