SignUp Now!It sounds as if she is doing the right things n as it is writtenHello @Twistie,
That is quite some song!
This makes me think of my daughter, who will not allow anything negative in her life, be it by word, deed or the people she meets. She gives of herself cheerfully, but refuses to enter into negativity. Negative news reports are turned off, the bickering of politicians are not given houseroom: she has had a child to support so works hard with her hands to do so, and has no time to enter into grumbling and condemning. She laughs a lot, is available when need arises, but knows what gives her joy and what drains her, and chooses joy.
She has yet to know the Lord Jesus Christ as her Saviour, but I pray that she will see positivity, love and grace among the believing community that she may meet, that will draw her towards the sound of the gospel spoken in truth; that her heart may open up to receive the knowledge of God in Christ Jesus, and be born of His Spirit.
Thank you
In Christ Jesus
Chris

N this is why He says that He is coming for Two sheepfold n will make them one n don't forget about the parable of the farmerHi @Twistie,
It is possible to have a form of righteousness but deny the power thereof though, isn't it? There are many people doing good things, in the name of one charitable organisation or another, and working tirelessly for others in their daily lives, without asking for reward: but if they have not faith then all their good works are as filthy rags before God. They receive commendation from their fellowman, justifiably, but will still have to stand before the judgment seat of God, and give answer: facing condemnation and death, instead of life everlasting; because they have not acknowledged the Lord Jesus Christ as their Saviour and Lord and received forgiveness of sins, and the righteousness of God which declares them, 'not guilty'.
There are those who have not heard the gospel of the grace of God, and they will be judged according to the secrets of their hearts, on the basis of an all knowing God, who knows what they would have done had they heard. God is both just and justifier. Praise His Name!
Thank you
Within the love of Christ our Saviour
our Lord and Head.
Chris
