"Thou Shall Not Lie!!!!!!!!"
Telling lies can become addictive! First the person telling the lie thinks there is no harm in telling it; as long as the purpose is for the fact of sparing someones feelings or keeping themselves or someone out of trouble - therefore not trusting in The Almighty God. ( this is the beginning of practicing - the telling of lies.)
But before one may realize it, he/she becomes comfortable with telling lies. Making their minds up to tell lies only for good & kind reasons. And before he/she realizes it, they have formed a bad habit. A habit that later also turns into selfish reasons & what ever the reason may be, he/she is still putting Satan's laws into practice.
Then he/she starts using the the excuse "I was to week to control myself."
If we except what The Almighty God said "Thou shall not lie" (Exodus 20:16). And we should respect that law no-matter what. So that if we do fail, let it be because - we were week - with out the practicing of telling lies - but - by pure accidental of mind. The more we stay away from sin; the more we stay away from practicing Satan's laws & from falling into his traps & the closer we get to The Almighty God.
For serving our Almighty God means to love HIM with all our heat, soul & mind & with ALL OUR MIGHT! We do have the power to say NO to telling lies & any other temptations - if we use the power of our might.
*The question is: 'Do you really want to serve The Almighty God!'
And if one of us, do have, the bad habit of telling lies but wants to change, then let it be with the goodness of their hearts & prayer to The Almighty God through Jesus Christ; asking HIM to pour out HIS Holy Spirit & to forgive them & to give them courage & the strength that they need to stop this bad habit that they have.
For The Almighty God has given us the power of choice. We can say yes or no to almost anything we want to. But saying no to sin is or can be as easy as saying yes or no to almost anything. It all depends on were your heart (soul & mind) is.
