Just like to point out something here for our learning. When Jesus said that his followers (would not have gone over the cities of Israel until the son of man be come).
This was not an end time prophecy or saying. This passage is also what many Preterist use as scripture for Christ returning in 70 AD.
Here is how we can understand this saying. We have to use all the gospels, as most scripture interprets itself.
The gospel of Matthew says this...
Mat_10:23 But when they persecute you in this city, flee ye into another: for verily I say unto you, Ye shall not have gone over the cities of Israel, till the Son of man be come.
Now if we go to the gospel of Luke we get a better picture of what Christ really meant here. He was not talking about his second coming.
Luk_10:1 After these things the Lord appointed other seventy also, and sent them two and two before his face into every city and place, whither he himself would come.
So as you can see most scripture when read correctly can interpret itself. And these passages are a great example of that.
