John 15:1-17
Hi everyone!
Could you please help me?
I have some questions regarding John 15. I have to be honest and say that I don't always go with this warm, fuzzy feeling for others. But of course love is not just a feeling. Still, I don't always manage to love others around me as Jesus loved me. And I do make mistakes. But at the same time, His words are clear: to love God is to obey His commands. (John 14:21) (1 John 5:3). So what does abiding in the wine really mean? I don't think Jesus expects us to never stumble. Has it something to do with Romans 6:11, that we should consider ourselves dead to sin? And how do I know if I love someone with the love that Christ takes delight in?
I would appreciate it if someone could answer my questions.
