My days are too busy to just sit down & talk to God . So I feel like there is a wall blocking me from talking to God? How do i non busy my days?
Anyone have advice?

godsgirl, I find that sometimes I seems so busy that I don't have enough time to spend with God as well. When I start feeling or thinking this way I make a point to stop what I'm doing and pray thanks for His love and understanding, tell Him that I desire more time with Him and ask that maybe the line in the grocery store isn't that long this time, or that the traffic lights are with me. I just ask for the little things that will give me a few spare moments in the evening when everthing is quiet so I can focus soley on Him. And you know what? Even if the lines aren't shorter or traffic lighter, I always seem to have the time I need with Him. I don't know how He does it, but He's God and loves spending time with me too.
So when you feel as though you haven't given Him enough of you, ask Him for help to give more. He will help you!

Dear Godsgirl,

Praise God for putting it in your heart to even be aware of this. He is calling you, He always wants to be with you. God's mighty plan and purpose included you by giving you the new day in your life. So please make the time for Him. He knows you are busy. How do you expect to get through the "busy ness" of your day without seeking Him first? God is the one who gave you the gifts to take care of the things you need to do for His glory.

Please read Luke and meditate on this 10:38-42 "Martha was distracted but Mary sat at the Lord's feet listening to what He said"

I know God is leading you into youth ministry, sister, and you will need to listen to His direction. We hope this helps, giving God all the glory here.

Your brother in Christ Jesus!

I just wanted to say that i get really busy too sometimes. What I do is before I go to bed I set apart time to read my bible, Pray, adn just spend time with the lord. What you could do is before you go to bed just set time apart for him. Even if its only 1 scripture and a 5 minute prayer. At least you are putting out the effort.

godsgirl, I understand completely. I try to at the very least pray everday. It is usually more than once at day. It could be in the shower, while doing my homework, cooking dinner, anytime. I know it may not seem like much but I know every little bit helps keep me connected to God.

I think off the bat its safe to say that GOD knows our hearts, so if He sees in our heart that we love Him, accept Jesus and to the mininal think about/talk to GOD in our hearts even when we feel out of time so to speak, then GOD is at least satisifed that this comes from our end to Him. GOD knows us better than we know ourselves, clearly obvious and He knows that although we may not give Him the time He deserves or what we think is giving enough to GOD - He knows we do care to be connected always :)

Again, the more time you give to GOD the better the results ;)

I know what you mean

I couldnt have said it better. . .
If I cant cut my duties. . . what have to get done. . . and I have sorted my priorities. . .(what I do have to remember to do daily) . . .then I have to take God in the middle of my duties. . . housework . .. shower. . . cooking . .. everywhere. . .and you know what .. .
I believe God enjoys it when I share my life with Him . .. he enjoys seeing me cook and feeding my family . . .He enjoys when I try to pick up in the house to make it cozy for everyone . . .
And He lets me know. . .when I sit on my clean couch well fed and rest in Him!

Dear Godsgirl,
I know how hard it is sometimes when you have to work(or to study) from early morning until late at night. I myself had that kind of periods when I couldn't do anything else than studying and have just some free minutes per day.But I prefer spending those free moments praying instead of listening to music or watching TV. I try to read from the Bible at least 1 or 2 chapters per day. But what I wanted to say is that you can pray whenever or wherever you are. When you have a break of your work for some minutes, just try to say a short prayer in your mind. You'll see that very soon you will find in prayer something as necessar as food or water.
We have to feed our soul, not only our body. And prayer is the food that our soul needs!
Try to bulid a relationship with God and the desire of talking with Him will be bigger day by day!
God bless you!

Christina

you have to make a choice to make time for god. there is no relationship as important as that one. sometimes i find that when im bein lazy watchin t.v. god says get up and go read your bible. lol and its usually when my favorite show is on lol. we have to disaple ourselves. proverbs says he that loves disapline loves knowledge but he that despised correction is stupid(really thats what it says).

I heard a quote once..."If you're too busy for God, then you're too busy." This is a true statement, and we can be assured that the devil will see to it that everything needs our immediate attention each time we try to "get alone with God". Every distraction or hinderance, no matter how small, will seem as though they must be dealt with "at this very moment". Some good scriptures to remember are: Psalm 63:1, "O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is;" Proverbs 8:17, "I love them that love me; and those that seek me early shall find me." Isaiah 26:9,With my soul have I desired thee in the night; yea, with my spirit within me will I seek thee early: for when thy judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness." Seeking God early in your day will cause the day to go much smoother and seeking God early in our lives help prevent the pitfalls that the devil places before us. God desires to fellowship with us and desires our worship, but He doesn't intrude in our lives. He wants us to want to fellowship with Him and worship Him, so we must make it our #1 priority---before spouse, family, church, friends or anything/anybody. He waits patiently for us to commune with Him because He loves us so very much. He wants us to share everything with Him, although He already knows it. He doesn't tire of our repetition.
May God help you to set your priorities to give Him first place in everything...begin by saying, "Good morning, LORD!" not dreading to face the day, as some might say, "Good lord it's morning again". Psalm 55:17, "Evening, and morning, and at noon, will I pray, and cry aloud: and he shall hear my voice." Breathe a prayer as you go about your daily tasks.
