My Brothers & Sisters in Christ Jesus.
The war against religious freedom in this country and around the world continues to be engaged in a variety of arenas.
Let's keep these of the Body of Christ in prayer, for continued resources, success in this case in front of the courts, and to be examples to the young men & women who attend their schools.
With the Love of Christ Jesus.

Christian School Goes To Court To Defend A 30-Second Pregame Prayer

Even if we seem to be losing battles, God will win the war. If we keep on working and keep on praying while remaining always on His side, we will come out just fine in His eyes.

".But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil:...And if any man will sue thee at the law, and take away thy coat, let him have thy cloke also." (Matthew 5:39-40)

".But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil:...And if any man will sue thee at the law, and take away thy coat, let him have thy cloke also." (Matthew 5:39-40)
Our answer, of course, is to surrender to God and to continue surrendering to Him. He is winning battles and while we are with Him so are we. Our own flesh alone fighting against sin will lose.

".But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil:...And if any man will sue thee at the law, and take away thy coat, let him have thy cloke also." (Matthew 5:39-40)
It does not say to not resist evil. You left out ... an evil person. Resist evil but not the person. Same as hate the sin, not the sinner

The war against religious freedom. What exactly does that mean? Please understand that religious freedom means that anyone can worship in an organized manner pretty much anything they please and the State will not interfere because in your case, it has not chosen any specific religion or denomination/sect. As much as you may hate to admit it, what works for you also works for others. Therefore, I recommend that between Sunday services, you best be out witnessing and wanting to convert anyone you encounter, particularly those who oppose your beliefs. In the end, you have no choice as there is no other way.

Secular humanists are hoping to revoke the rights of Christians, not all religious.
There's a thread in the news forum about a Georgia pastor who worked for local government. He's now encountering what made news in Texas years ago. Government demanding he turn over his sermons after he was fired from his secular government post. A special appointed body wants to review them and make sure they don't offend a certain community of persons.

Is it any wonder the fallen worldly one's feel threatened by prayer? And want to stop it?

God be with the opposition.

All governments are secular in nature and all government jobs are likewise. Unless you're the State appointed religious leader, a position which even Billy Graham did not hold, your sermons do not have a place in your job especially if they pick on selected groups of people. If these people make warranted complaints about it, then the Law will step in. American Christians want to burn the candle at both ends without getting burned; they want religious freedom, but they want it denied to all else. Convert your neighbours and passing such a law becomes moot.

As for prayer, it can be completely private unless you do as Daniel did which landed him in the lions den. Above that, the person you're praying for need not know about it unless you tell them or others. And, it seems the best friend of many Texans is Samuel Colt, not just Jesus Christ.

I may be needing clarification here on the forum registration rules. I thought this was a Christians only site? Am I mistaken on this? I appreciate any help. Thank you in advance. :)

Dear Sister @Blunder_Duck
Yes this is a Christian site, but is it exclusively as you would say "christians only" site? The answer would be no.

In particular the answer to your question is in red as part of the opening of rules. I'll quote for you.
"Welcome to Talk Jesus Forums
If you are an unbeliever, it is likely you've been led here by GOD so you may learn about His love for you found in Jesus Christ alone. We welcome you with open arms!"

The desire is that all are welcome, however.....(another way of say but :-)

Conditions do apply. Needless to say those who are not seeking, but are looking to disrupt, or push their church as being that sole source of truth. Will surely find themselves banned and postings promoting such removed.

We have had athiest here in which communication has happened and with the Love of Christ Jesus. The message of Salvation, the Gospel has been presented them. This has happened also with Jehovah Witness', Catholics, and others as well. Sadly, there is only so much communication or complaints for that matter, that can occur before the Staff has to decide if they should be allowed to continue to be a member of Talk Jesus.

I hope the links and the information here provided is beneficial.
If you have any more questions please let us know.
