Pat, you are my greatest encourager during this season of my life. God knew I needed someone to encourage me, as the enemy will continue to come against me as long as I continue to serve and glorify my Lord in heaven. When there's no one else around and the enemy starts to make me feel down, I have to do what David did: but David encouraged himself in the Lord his God.-1 Samuel 30:6. Christ's Spirit lives within me, governing my mind and my behavior according to God's desires and He gives me life and peace. I have learned from studying God's Word that if I start feeling down, it's a deliberate, willful attack by Satan for the purpose of doing harm in spirit, soul, body or all three. God has taught me, if I fill my mind with Scripture and live according to its principles, Satan's schemes lose their power over me. So, when you send those encouraging verses, my spirit is strengthened. When we feed each other with God's Word, He not only strengthens us, but He opens our hearts and pours in beautiful blessings from heaven. You are a sweet lady with a heart like Jesus. Thank you for being my Sister in Christ. I am here for you! Don't hesitate to send me a message about anything. We are here to grow in the Lord and help each other.
