Today marks 6yrs with Talkjesus. I remember the hunger and dimness as if it was yesterday. I remember my neediness and readiness. I remember clicking on @Chad meetup page and seeing talkjesus link at the bottom. I remember the excitement and joy in this new fellowship. I've met some great people, who I cherish. I've become a background sort of person, reading the discussions, praying for those with request, but I show myself sometimes to stir up discussions lol. Not to cause harm or offend, but to make people question and realize there's always new things to learn and study. Lets be honest , there’s a lot more tradition than truth among our beliefs.
We serve a mighty and Awesome God. My goal and message to the body of Christ is to test all things. Don’t get offended so quick with your brothers and sisters. Take the time to study what the other person is saying, don't just post your view but question your views and the other person's equally.Holding multiple views,opinions,doctrines in one hand and the bible in the other, conducting research and a willingness to see you’re error. Having one view can lead to ignorance. I’ve used this method for 6yrs. I found errors in my beliefs and became more knowledgeable in some. These challenges have equipped me to hold debate on many subjects, because I was force to find the truth.
e.g. I went to the library to conduct research on the Trinity, reading from books as old as 1908. Study still pending. Fascinating finds will share when complete.
You’re goal should always be the truth, not to be right. If you’re motive on this site is be right, you’re in the wrong place, will cause confusion and won’t last long on the foum. There’s no room for pride when it comes to the word of God. It’s not about me or you.
Follow the above tips, enjoy the fellowship,practice forgiveness,private message members for correction/explainations, never get emotionally attached to a discussion, if you do take a break cool off,visit the new member area, pray request thread and you'll enjoy the site.

Away from me, you evil doers!'"

The Great Apostasy
4 Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons, 2 speaking lies in hypocrisy, having their own conscience seared with a hot iron, 3 forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from foods which God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and know the truth. 4 For every creature of God is good, and nothing is to be refused if it is received with thanksgiving; 5 for it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer.
