Training for the body is as you know very tough and hard work! We read,we study to help build our bodys as we want them to look to others,and our self. The body knows 6 things,sight,sound,feeling,touch, taste,and smell.
We from the very beginning have worked hard on this,sometimes not even knowing it. The flesh is used to getting its own way,its thinking lines up with these 6 things,and our heart is moving by the mind in this. There is another training,one most will not do,because it goes against what we have know all of our lives.
Jesus moves in a realm unseen by the naked eye,his mind does not think like the flesh does,nor do his results merit that which we can always see. The wind for example,we cannot see this,but yet we can feel the results that come from it. To train our mind in his realm goes against everything in our flesh!
Flesh wants to see to know,it wants to touch and feel,it wants to hear,it rejects that which is unseen,it looks to others, to compare itself,and then has you think on how best you yourself can do this.
Many believers go through there lives hoping to never have to believe in something or someone outside of there self. Just let me have a good job,put food on my table, pay all the bills,raise up my children as best I can, and I will be happy. But suddenly without waring something unseen to them comes rolling in,a job is lost,bills cannot be paid on time,children are getting into trouble.
Now what! Oh dear!! Now I have to use some faith? I have to trust in Jesus whom I have always loved just as long as I can just live my own life! Play by my own rules! Now some get angry,they blame God for the problems that has befallen them,humm, they never thanked him for things going so well before,but now!! HEY!! God this is all your fault! NO! What it is time for,is what we should have done long ago!! Train!
Some of you are teachers of some kind,when school started you saw the children in an aweful shape! But as you began to train them, why they learned,yes and so did you! No matter what age we attain we must learn! Those who do not, suffer from the results,they complain,they blame everyone but who the blame should really be on.THEMSELVES!
What the Lord in me has been showing me as of late,is that 1. It is never to late to start.2.staring today will gain for us tomorrow.and 3.Believing in Jesus is knowing he is always with us!!Seeing him is not believing,for seeing him becomes fact,not faith.
But I am old,and have never done this! I am to old to change now! You are what you decide! Today you decided to go out and mow the lawn,why? the excuse for this in your mind was,well the grass was getting to long,or something else,but you did it,did you not??
Perhaps grumbling,but hey you did do it! After ward 2 things happened,one relieve that the task is done,and 2.hey!! it does look much better! So you give yourself a gentle pat on the back, and move on to something you would rather do,like playing games,watching tv,etc...these things are done because you deserve a reward for something you did,but really didn't want to do.
Jesus does not want you to HAVE!! to trust in him,he wants us to do this with joy,not sorrow! Like a reward. We do this because hey we deserve this,and we really do!! So with our mind thinking like this,let us begin. I have said a lot already,but I said this so you will know I know,and i understand how tough this can be.
What I will tell you is what I was able to do through a loving Jesus,for I will not talk about something I can never really be sure of to you. I had to retrain my mind. I had to work hard,on making my mind think on what I wanted it to think on.I had to rule my own flesh,so Jesus could take control of my Spirit man.30 day program! That is the time it will take.The flesh and the enemy will fight every step of the way!
But do not look at the battle inside,watch what happenes to your outside,as Jesus takes control of you from the inside out! You are all very smart! You know if someone is pulling your chain or not!! LOL First 2 words to never use ever again to yourself!! I can't and I will try! Try is a flesh word for making excuses to fail at something,and can't? What cannot God do in you??( luke 1:37) Try is another word for making an attempt at something?? why bother!
NO! now you have purpose! A reason to go through the training,because at the finish line of this training, Jesus has a reward for you!( rev 22:12!!) according to what?? what he or she believes?? NOPE! according to what he or she has done BY believing! For what we truly believe we will always act upon! To do this yep, the Word! The Word and yes the Word!
This is Jesus truly! and this should be us truly as well.For who wants to be around people who talk and walk defeated lives? ( mark 4:24 be careful even!! for what you hear!) hearing doubt,bring to our mind the same,well if he can't do it,why can I? because you are not like him!!
He has no Word in him,so sure he doubts! For what is man in himself? The mind rules the heart,the heart cannot think,only the mind can do this,the heart confirms what our mind is believing in,and when this happens we act on it! That is believing. The more Word you have in your mind,the better your heart will react to what you believe! I recorded types of the Word I myself wanted to hear,to gain hope,to recieve faith,to act on.
Because this has run much longer then I had intended,I will stop here. but this my brothers and sisters is where to begin! Do I make mistakes?? SURE!! but see, I am never out of training!! That is the secret!!
We are not finished training till we cross into Glory! But this is where to begin.30 days! You will not only feel the difference from the mighty wind of Jesus!! BUT!! you and others will see the difference!! May all comfort be measured upon you all,and may you all be encouraged and made whole again in our Jesus!! amen!
