1 Peter 1:3-9 starting with verse 6-In THIS you greatly rejoice, even though now for a little while,IF NECESSARY
(inpotant 2 words there!!Will get back to this.) you have been distressed by various Trials,so that( we are about to find out what the result of these should be.) the proff of your faith, BEING!!!( another very inporant word here!!) more precious then gold which is perishable, even through tested by fire, may be found to result in praise, and glory, and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ; and though you have not seen him,you love him,and though you do not see him now,but believe in HIM,you greatly rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory, obtaining as the outcome of your faith the salvation of your souls.

( also please look at 1 Peter 4:12,and James 1:2-4) My focus will be here, on 1 Peter 1:3-9. IF necessary, verse 6.Why? Why does it become necessary? For each of us,we can sure have different opinions on this alone! It becomes necessary when we have done one of two things

.1. Strayed away from God's love,or 2.Like Job,or many other believers,an oppertinuity to see God's love and power working in us!example? Please look at John 11whole chapter! So much here!! highlights of the chapter.

verse 6 Jesus heard. Jesus did something on purpose knowing Lazarus was going to die!! Jesus stayed 2 whole days longer where he was at!! then!! verse 7! The disciples were concerned about Jesus getting stoned, they perhaps believed that is why Jesus stayed 2 days longer.AH!

But that was not the case was it! verse14 the disciples just didn't get it!! So Jesus had to tell them plainly! Lazarus is dead!NOW!! the purpose Jesus had all the way back in verse 6!! verse 15! so that YOU!! may believe! Jesus does not always allow ourselves to be tested because we did something wrong, but rather so others can believe Jesus is alive in us!!

Verse 35 the shortest verse in the Bible, also the most telling!! Jesus wept, why? he knew he was going to raise him up why back in verse 6! The jews believed he wept because Jesus so loved him,but this cannot be right! because Jesus loves us all at 100 percent!! Jesus does not love me anymore then he loves you!! IF he did, then he would be partial!!( rom 2:11, and acts 10:34 spoken after the ressurction of Jesus say the same point!!) There is none with God!) So we know he did not weep because of this! So why then did Jesus weep? because remember the scripture in Rom 12:15?? weep with those who weep! That is why, because the nature of God is always, always to LOVE!

Now Jesus became deeply moved within verse 38,the power of God was really on him at this point! 4 days dead, not 3!!

One more day then Jesus spent in death! verse 43 with great!! authority Jesus does not just speak forth,he cries out forth!! Lazarus come forth! The rest is history!

So some trials are done because Jesus wants to show his stuff, not always because the person who is going through this has committed a great sin of some sort! It can be the case though yes! But as you have seen not always, the person who is going through this will know!( before or after the trial)

Trials are never fun to the person at the time! But like the day,and the night neither last forever, day changes to night, and night day,so it is with trials!

What we ourselves need to focus one,is not the trial, but rather our faith in the trial,we are to look not at what is temporal( 2 Cor 4:16-18) or things that are seen!! BUT!! As Jesus did, look to that which is eternal or unseen! This determines how we do in our paticular trial.

In some we do better then others,so we learn,at least hopefully! In others we may do very well, and that being the case we give all Glory to our Jesus in us!!

In either case we always learn where we are really at in Jesus, that is the purpose in having them,a measuring stick for us from time to time. Now the other word BEING!!

This word is the outcome of the trial, BEING MORE precious then gold! a lasting etenal being,in our Jesus, because with God!! amen!! ALL things are possible!! ( luke 1:37) And since that is the case,no matter who the enemy uses, no matter what in the flesh he looks to do to us,one thing is for certain,he can NEVER!! hurt our Jesus in us!!

We have HIS very Word on that!! and!! Jesus cannot lie!! ( titus 1:2) The other part of the trial is always ,yes always to draw us to Jesus!! Never away from him! If we find we are getting mad at God,and start to pull aways,we better check ourselves up!!( 2 Cor 13:5) examination of ourselves is always part of the trial.

I hope this has given you something to consider for your own life,as it sure has done mine! I, like you have much work to do on this! But Jesus in me can teach us all!! Praise God he can! May the blessing of our Almighty and Everlasting God bring joy to your hearts and your mind!! amen!

I will attempt to address the purpose of Christian Sufferings as to their benefit to us. Romans 8:31. "What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?" and Romans 8:28. "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose."

What benefit is there in suffering? Could it be the opportunity of winning God's best for your life? Paul referred to it this way in Philippians 3:8, "Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ." Now I do hope you realize that when Paul said this he was in Christ, and so what is he saying or wanting to gain?

Let's go further. Romans 8:17. "And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; IF so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together." All born of God are heirs of God, but only those who suffer or endure with Him are told to be "Joint heirs."

Additionally in 2 Timothy 2:11-12 , "It is a faithful saying: For if we be dead with him, we shall also live with him (Heir): 12 If we suffer, we shall also reign with him (Joint-heir) . . "

In Jesus' name.
