So when we really delve into the word of God, if we are really the followers of Messiah Jesus and have HIS Spirit in us, then we emulate Him. We see His heart revealed in Matthew 25:31-46 where He demonstrates the fruit of agapeo (love) which those who have His Spirit should demonstrate. James calls it “true religion! Paul gives us insight into the qualiities of such a Spirit in 1 Corinthians 13. In 1 John 4 we read, “6 We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error. 7 Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. 8 He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love”

Here the old Apostle is speaking about this agapeo (a way of acting and a motivation within, not an emotion). Now many will say “I know this? So what?” But is this what we ourselves do, and are these the matters we support in our families, communities, and nations, is this what is in our hearts? It after all the essence of the Spirit of Christ. I know we are IN the church and believe we are Christians but are we (Romans 8:9)? Not all are as we plainly se in Matthew 25:1-13 and elsewhere.

Please take the time to really read the following and look clearly at your self. The words and works of Jesus were not His own but those of the Father. So really think in these things and do not be afraid if you find you must confess you have fallen short. After doing so are you willing to yeild to this Spirit and conform to His image in Christ? I pray we all will (if it be His will we shall).

Isaiah 58:6-12

6 Is not this the fast that I have chosen? to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke?

7 Is it not to deal thy bread to the hungry, and that thou bring the poor that are cast out to thy house? when thou seest the naked, that thou cover him; and that thou hide not thyself from thine own flesh?

8 Then shall thy light break forth as the morning, and thine health shall spring forth speedily: and thy righteousness shall go before thee; the glory of the Lord shall be thy reward.

9 Then shalt thou call, and the Lord shall answer; thou shalt cry, and he shall say, Here I am. If thou take away from the midst of thee the yoke, the putting forth of the finger, and speaking vanity;

10 And if thou draw out thy soul to the hungry, and satisfy the afflicted soul; then shall thy light rise in obscurity, and thy darkness be as the noon day:

11 And the Lord shall guide thee continually, and satisfy thy soul in drought, and make fat thy bones: and thou shalt be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters fail not.

12 And they that shall be of thee shall build the old waste places: thou shalt raise up the foundations of many generations; and thou shalt be called, The repairer of the breach, The restorer of paths to dwell in.

Won't you join in being this to a lost and dying world? It IS the will of God that you do! Amen

Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.

The greatest manifestation of love mainly towards the neighbor is to announce the Truth of GOD, the Gospel of the Kingdom of GOD. The Word of GOD preached by the Apostle Paul brings us, through his testimony, a wonderful revelation about the gospel of Christ: Romans 1:16-17 and 14-15:-Romans 1:16-17 and 14-15:-

16
For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of GOD unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek (Gentiles).

17 For therein is the righteousness of GOD revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.

14 I am debtor both to the Greeks, and to the Barbarians; both to the wise, and to the unwise.

15 So, as much as in me is, I am ready to preach the gospel to you that are at Rome also (where there were also a lot of Jews there living).

The greatest manifestation of love towards the neighbor and even our brothers in Christ is to announce and to speak the Truth of GOD, the Gospel of GOD's Kingdom preached by our Lord JESUS Christ, for it is the power of GOD unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek (Gentiles), therein is the righteousness of ou GOD. (GOD's Kingdom: Revelation 11:15 to 18, combined with Luke 20:35-36)

Speaking of the Truth of GOD, it does remember 3 John 1:1-6
1 The elder unto the wellbeloved Gaius, whom I love in the truth.

2 Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.

3 For I rejoiced greatly, when the brethren came and testified of the truth that is in thee, even as thou walkest in the truth.

4 I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth.

5 Beloved, thou doest faithfully whatsoever thou doest to the brethren, and to strangers;

6 Which have borne witness of thy charity before the church: whom if thou bring forward on their journey after a godly sort, thou shalt do well:

Yes, the Gospel is our co-mission. It is the foremost responsibility. Now in doing so we can be His body here on earth.

Fasting is NOT starving for piety or hunger strike, but eating at meal time only. Fasting and feasting are the two sides of the same coin. You must eat real food and eat well when you feast, so you won’t have any brain fog or food craving when you fast, and only then can you focus on God. Jesus criticized fasting for show and enjoyed a feast with tax collectors, he compared himself as bread and living water, so feast at meal time, and fast in between, no soda or snack.

But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
Your thinking is from a human perspective, a stumbling block, not from GOD's perspective.

You're the one who's stumbling on a block of "spiritualization". If you wanna translate biblical principles into everyday life and teach them to others, then use everyday language to explain God's perspective. That's what Lord Jesus did with all the parables and analogies.

What matters and prevails is the Word of GOD. The Word is GOD, understand? The natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God.
