The chief danger of the Church today is that it is trying to get on the same side as the world, instead of turning the world upside down. Our Master expects us to accomplish results, even if they bring opposition and conflict. Anything is better than compromise, apathy, and paralysis. God, give to us an intense cry for the old-time power of the Gospel and the Holy Ghost!

Jesus said to give unto Ceasar what belongs to Ceasar and give unto God what belongs to God.

Christians are letting Ceasar and his secular bias creep into the church. My old church, Presbyterian, has been doing this for some years. Mainstream Presbterian, which my recent church affiliates itself with, condones woman's right to choose abortion, homosexual ministers and now same sex marriage, just to mention a few. I have since left that church and in the process of looking for another.

I have other, so called Christians call me a Homophobe. I am not afraid of anything . I would rather align myself with scripture and loving the sinner but hating the sin!

God's chief weapon against the devil is His love. Satan is cowed when he's confronted with a Christian who loves outrageously, who does not get combative with those who disagree with him/her. Yes we're in a war, but our weapon is not combativeness or anger; it is love.

"For God so LOVED the world....(Jn 3:16)

Yes, one of God's greatests attributes is his power to love unconditionally and, it is derived from his perfect love. Of course, we are to strive for this Agape love but we are also to allow the Holy Spirit to help us not be persuaded by Satins ways to accept what is wrong and and certainly what is immoral.
Jesus took the interpretation of love to the extreme, when he said to love your enemies. So, we are to love our enemies and he didn't mean we are to , in any form, condone what they do; in some circumstances, combativeness may be appropriate to seperate ourselves from the unrighteous.
