Just stop what you're doing for a few minutes, please read this article and then think and meditate; these poor children, scared witless and right to be. And of course, how worried sick are their parents? Then there's those who've lost loved ones, murdered for Jesus.

This was a Christian school. The kids had been singing Gospel songs when Satan attacked.

Please let's pray for the safe return of the children and comfort for their families and the bereaved.

God bless. Amen.

Stuff like this normal in Africa, since I have been "Born of God" most nations just ignore it, and have a couple of meeting and give a few notes on the matter and that is it. christians come from all over to those parts of the world, like they are vacations and bring pictures back, and say they have been to Africa and met christian churches over there. In the safe Tourist zones. it does not mean nothing to christianity how warlords keep all the supplies and food that goes over there and not body especially christians do not even are care nothing about it, but a hand few. I Have been on this journey for almost 50 years and I met and heard some

coming here from African, as they have told the stories of all the Atrocities committed by all kinds of leadership, and nothing can be done, or will be done, like most of the World. many think because of where we live, and where we vacation too, in the vacation areas of countries, that the world is great ,it is not.. This Whole world is horrible.

The whole world lives in Darkness and how great is that darkness.
It makes you wonder.

New King James Version Genesis 6:6 NKJV
And the LORD was sorry that He had made man on the earth, and He was grieved in His heart.:pensive:

[ I do believe this is referring to Jesus The Creator of Heaven and The earth and All Creation, and Not "The Father" , for Good and Sound Theological Reasons, that will not be discuss here. Not in this Setting.]:pensive:

Hi Plough,

I think we're both of an age where we've grown sceptical over the years about African governments and course there are other governments all over the world that are corrupt. In Europe we have Russia and Belarus and across the pond there's Venezuela and other central and south American countries that you wouldn't want to live in. But back to Africa, whilst the governments may leave a lot to be desired, the same cannot be said of the church; it is thriving and expanding at an incredible rate. I support a church in Uganda run by a guy I met on TJ and he sends me weekly video updates and we chat almost daily via WhatsApp. His church has grown from a handful to approaching 3 figures in just a few years. The enthusiasm and praise and worship is an absolute breath of fresh air.

Why not reach out to @Emmy86 I'm sure he'd like to make friends with another Christian brother and share with you in much the same way as we do? Maybe we can form a WhatsApp group? The invitation goes to any other believing brother or sister, wherever you may be.

Another church I support is in Yangon in Myanmar (formerly Burma). Myanmar was a democracy until 3 years ago when the military took over and a civil war broke out. The military crackdown has been widespread and brutal but again, the church which is a tiny minority in a Buddhist country, is expanding rapidly. Again, why not reach out and introduce yourself to @Tun Lin. He runs a small orphanage of 7 kids, most of which have been orphaned by State crackdowns. Not only that, he supports 4 other missionaries dotted throughout Myanmar and again, I get an emailed monthly report and chat almost daily via WhatsApp.

Finally, can I pray for the work these two guys do in incredibly difficult situations. But, and a BIG BUT, please don't forget the OP and keep praying for brutalised survivors, victims and families of the kidnapped and those poor families that are mourning the loss of those young martyrs.

God bless you and have yourself a lovely day and this morning, a shower of the Holy Spirit :p
