Understanding our enemy!

First Forgive my lack of writing skills,I am still working on doing a better job like most of you already can. thanks! Before we go into battle, it is wise to consider who we are up against! Most who become saved never understand,who they really are,because they are to busy fighting off attacks! feeling sad,becomeing depressed,prayers do not seem to be working,why does it seem there is more I cannot do for Jesus,then for him? So many firery darts! What my intenion is today,is to really show you who it is,we are against,and!! the best part,how we can ALWAYS!! WIN!! First we must know our opponent,how tough is this person? What is there weakness? and how can we beat this person as fast as we can!! So we can move onward!! and upward! Our opponent is far smarter, and wiser then we are. The nature of our opponent is to make you feel like you yourself can beat him! The devil is a lier( john 8:44) this is his very nature! He stated long ago,so he has had lots of practice in doing this( please read Isaiah 14:12-16) The star of the morning was Lucifer,receving his new name given to him because of his 5 I wills spoken of in verses 13-14) Many wonder when this took place? I personally believe this took place just prior to creation,as how could the snake be the devil unless he decided to go against our Lord in the first place? But the point is, this is who we have to deal with here on earth. When Jesus came unto us as a child,and grew,his first test came with our enemy! Matt 4 Jesus being God in the flesh,showed us how one has to deal with this very strong opponent! THE WORD!! Who we know our Jesus is!! ( john 1:1) So we find out very early,at least hopefully,that only Jesus and his Word can cause the devil to flee!WE by ourselves do not have the power or the strength to do this. Next we learn something else about our opponent, he is a thief!( john 10:10) as proff of this in the natural, please look at Judas,he was a thief!( john 12:6,and john 13:29) and because Judas was a thief,he did what many of us have done,he gave the devil an oppertinuity( eph 4:27) Which is all our opponent needs to mess up our life! Judas continued in this sin,and finally as a reward from his god the devil Satan himself entered him,to betray our Blessed Jesus!( luke 22:3) Now if this was not enough to be concerned with! He can use people!! People who many think are Godly!! ( 2 Cor 11:14-15) So our opponent is 3 things!! 1. the father of all lies,2. a thief,and finally 3. he is Haloween every day!! he disguises himself,which is his armor! That in short my brothers and sisters is who our opponent is,and his very nature,meaning he will never change either! In sports many teams have different plays,to help them beat there opponent,the devils playbook is these 3 plays,and he plays them all the time! NOW!! OUR TEAM!! To foil a play by the enemy,we have learned what we are dealing with,and we now know his plays,let us look at our plays!!Our captain of OUR team,is God Almighty,Jesus,the only man in the flesh who defeated this wicked foe!AND!! lived to tell about it!! When not only did he die for us, but he ROSE!! in VICTORY!! and best of all, his purpose was not for himself! God already knew the devil is defeated,but Jesus did this so we to could through him have victory in our own lives! SO! first we must counter the lies,we must realize we can no longer lie to ourselves,or to others,we must do 2 things at once,stop lieing, and take off the disguise, or the mask we put on for others to precieve of us.OH DEAR!! I know!! But brother mark I do not want people to really know me!! I know!! I understand!! But our armor is not the devils armor!! OUR armor that we put on daily comes from eph 6:10-20!!! You see brothers and sisters,when we have the FULL armor of God on,the devil does not know who he is dealing with!! He cannot see through all the armor,this my brothers and sisters is our protection from God given to us! So now the devil not knowing who he is dealing with tempts us like he did Jesus( matt 4) see!! the devils playbook is always the same,he does the same to us,as he did for our Master! ( james 1:13-14) NOW!! during this time our Percious Jesus is watching!! God does not, nor will he ever tempt!! BUT!! he will test!!( jer 17:10)Why does Jesus do this? because even though he already knows what the outcome will be,we do not,nor does the devil! For if our opponent knew the outcome ahead of us!! He would have never used Judas to betray Jesus,only to have Jesus rise again,take the keys of hell and death,and give us victory in him! So the enemy listens!! what kind of words are we saying ourloud that he can hear? WORDS can make us,or break us!!( please read james 3)also remember we have purpose!! We have this PURPOSE!! Because Jesus always has purpose in EVERYTHING he ever said!! or did! So we must!! If we our going on to victory in Christ! ( James 1:2-12) So much here!! Everything you said about yourself yesterday,is what you are or are not in Jesus today.Can't can't, try? try what? we are fighting for our very lives out here,if I tossed you a coin and said try and catch this,you would not try,you would either catch it,or drop it,try to me is rev 3:16 and we know what happens to those who are lukewarm! The enemy trys,we are doers!!( james 1:22) we through our Jesus have victory,we have no time to try anything,in Jesus we are what?? amen MORE!! then conquers! rom 8:37-39! NOTHING seperates us from our Jesus,unless!! we do! We take off a piece of our armor,we say something on our own,when we should always speak the Word to the enemy instead. But mark you do not understand!! I do!! I know how hard it is!! But this messege are for those who want the truth,not for those who want to keep there disguises and keep lieing to themselves,and measure there faith by others, rather then by the Word of God which through our Jesus I present to you. SO as short as I could make this,this is our beginning in Christ,this a newborn needs to be taught,and this we oursleves must learn if we are ever to grow from being a child of knowledge,into a man or Woman of OUR LORD!( 1 Cor 13:11) it is time to put away child like knowledge,and grow up in Jesus,true we must come to our Jesus as his children!! I so agree!( matt 18:1-6) but not in the knowledge of a child,for in that knowledge we are to small to put on the full armor of god,and as you have seen we always need the armor! Oh one more thing,how do we keep our armor in good shape!! For goodness knows those firery darts will dent,and perhaps crack us a little,prayer!! ah PRAYER!! the oil to our armor!! Prayer in our Jesus keep our armor fresh!! and alway!! at the ready! I hope this has helped you all to see a little further down the road in each of your lives,it is something the Lord taught me,for this knowledge can only come from him!!BE encourged,WE DO WIN in the END!! BUT!! would it not be fun to be winning now? I have found I still lack much BUT!! I will never give up!!( please read all of hebrews 12) finally one more weapon,I did not forget,LOVE! for through Love of both Jesus and others,can our armor even be put on! ( 1 john 4:7-21) I know there is a lot here,I do not say this will happen overnight either! But today is a good day to start!! Blessing to you all!

Christians need to start believing that they fight from victory ground. And the only fight we are to fight is the good fight of faith. We are not supposed to take ont he enemy head on as there is no need to. jesus defeated Him already and He's under our feet. However, that doesn't stop him from attacking while we are here. And the devil will flea if you resist him. The biggest problem within Christianity today IMGO, is that Christians do not know God's character and who he really is. If they did, they would stop crediting our Father with diseases, poverty, car crashes, etc. It sickens me to hear Christians suggest to fellow Christians that God test people with these things. Its absurd and not supported by scripture. When will the sons of God stand up and say enough is enough? Christians just don't understand how to stand in faith and how to receive their provision from the Cross. That's why the Body of Christ is so weak today. The body of Christ certainly does not understand our enemy, considering so many credit God with his evil work.

Here is a writing tip. Use paragraphs to space out what you are writing it makes it easier for people to read what you have written.

I have had training in writing various business documents, especailly training manuals. The above is one of the basics in writing.

As you can see I have done so in my own post. So you can get an idea of what I have suggested to you.

Don't worry about how you paragraph (they are supposed to have more than one sentence and be a related idea or topic) your writing. Just try it and see how it looks.

Do re-read your own posts that way you will pick up on any visual mistakes. Too cramped. Not spaced out enough. Need more punctuation, you know the ocassional comma to break up ideas, list of things etc..

One more thing when you can use points as it really makes it easy to summarise and get what you are trying to communicate.

* Paragraphs,
* Space,
* Puncutation and
* Points.

This is a good point because when Jesus was tempted in the wilderness by satan He said It is Written. We too can do the same. We need to know the word of |God

Isn’t it wonderful how God made us all different and unique? If I were to speak my thoughts or writing I would get so embarrassed and run off the stage in tears! I did graduate high school so I assume I passed speech class some how...isn't D a passing grade... . lol.

You make so many excellent excellent points in your post and I toyed with the idea of separating the paragraphs to make it a bit easier for others to read but didn't think I should and thought that would just be too bold of me to do so (I'm usually not that bold..... lol)

Well, the devil isn't saying all the time pure lies, because we could easly recognize him and defend ourselves, but he twists the lies in a way that is more easly for him to lure us, because he puts some truth in them.
Satan brings condamnation and the Holy Spirit brings conviction, me must be very careful regarding this.
When the enemy points out our sin it will tell us there's no more hope, and it will encourage us to run away from God as we possibly can.
When God rebukes His people , even if He says very very hard things, He will always end His rebuke with an invitation of hope, an invitation of salvation.
The devil is called the slanderer, whenever i see the word "devil" in the Bible i replace it with the word "slanderer" because he slanders all the time.
How does he do that: well he slanders by accusing us for something we've done, which is true but then he mixes this truth with lies, in a malicious way.
He slanders God to man, he slanders man to God, he slanders men to themselves, he slanders you to yourself.
James O Fraser a missionary to China said that he felt like a damp cloud over his head there, he thought maybe it was the food, or the wheater, but when he started praying and quoting scripture that cloud seemed to disappear, and he realised it was a demonic oppression.
So let us constantly renew our minds in the word of God because our minds are constantly being attacked.

Morning Star

The only two refs to, morning star, I find are to my Saviour,in Revelation, the abomination you call 'b'ible is a tool of the devil my misled TJer. You should s-e-r-i-o-u-s-l-y reconcider the use of a Masoretic Text/TR translation primarily the most trusted since 1611 you might have heard of it the KJV, not a Ruckmanite just a TR man. What might help is to type what you want onto your Microsoft Word Document and then when you have it all the way you want it, just divide the paragraphs where you want them to make it easier to read. Then just copy and paste that onto your post here.

You have so many wonderful things to say and verses with clarity I could not resist making your posts a bit clearer. Now, if you were talking gobbledy gook I probably wouldn't help..... lol..... no just kidding..... I would still help but I would also point out fallacies. Kindly, of course
