Unequally Yoked

It does seem that 2 Cor 6:14 is more about believers and unbelievers than anything racial.

2 Corinthians 6:14
(AMPC) Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers [do not make mismated alliances with them or come under a different yoke with them, inconsistent with your faith]. For what partnership have right living and right standing with God with iniquity and lawlessness? Or how can light have fellowship with darkness?
(ASV) Be not unequally yoked with unbelievers: for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? or what communion hath light with darkness?
(BBE) Do not keep company with those who have not faith: for what is there in common between righteousness and evil, or between light and dark?
(Bishops) And beare not ye a straunge yoke with the vnbeleuers. For what felowship hath righteousnesse with vnrighteousnesse? Or what communion hath lyght with darkenesse?
(BSB) Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership can righteousness have with wickedness? Or what fellowship does light have with darkness?

(GW) Stop forming inappropriate relationships with unbelievers. Can right and wrong be partners? Can light have anything in common with darkness?

We've kind of moved away from the topic of the thread.
Unless we are to consider "unequally yoked" as a racial component, which would be against Scripture and not the purpose behind the writing of it in Scripture.

However, to add that the US Government has a lot to do with how some of the cultures that are in the US have existed and moved away from that which is good, to that which is bad is pretty evident. Most of this is because they have based much on give aways, or carrot-based intentions of correcting wrongs. You're not fixing the past and give aways only ruin the future generations desire to work. Any society that does not work in order to move forward will eventually fall. Even Scripture is condemning of those who will not work, when they can!!! (2 Thessalonians 3:10-16; 1 Timothy 5:8; Ephesians 4:28; Proverbs 14:23; and the list goes on.)

If you interested in the Black experience and why they are more likely to not marry in these days, and other issues being faced by them. It would do you well to read some of what Thomas Sowell has written. If you like videos, you can also watch the many interviews he has done on Black America, Slavery, etc. It would be and has been an eye opener for them to hear what the truth is, and not what those with political agendas say it is and sadly continue to tell them!

Regardless of the causes that one can come up with, only Jesus will make one whole regardless of what or who has put that emptiness inside one!

I go by what I see j what I have experienced n what I deal with also me n hubby talk alot ya color has nothing to do with unequally yolked tho that's for sure ..

Them videos r from my neighborhood thon that's what the children have to see on a daily basis n what the elderly gotta walk thru on a daily basis

Tho most don't wanna see n turn a blind eye it's coming soon to a neighborhood near you..

But... being equally yolked in a relationship is another matter

My experience is it can b unequal yolk in any type relationship weather it's in friends u hang with in the temple you attend in a marriage n even family can be unequally yolked..
