US Senate's Decision To Impeach

Former US President Donald Trump's impeachment isn't strictly Constitutional-- i.e.
by the book --which is precisely why Chief Justice Roberts is taking no part in it.

The vote to construe Mr. Trump's impeachment as Constitutional wasn't a
legislative vote, rather, it was an opinion vote; i.e. a poll. In other words, at this
point in time, the US Senate is a kangaroo court, i.e. a lynch mob, just as it was in
1876 when it tried Secretary of War William Belknap after he resigned.

Also: the decision to impeach Mr. Trump, if successful, opens the door for
impeaching all past, out of office, US Presidents; including Mr. Richard Nixon, who
himself resigned rather than be forced out of office. In point of fact, the
impeachment process was originally designed to remove a US President from office.
Mr. Trump is already out; same as Mr. Nixon was and same as Mr. Belknap.

Normally guilty verdicts rendered by the US Senate when impeaching a US
President cannot be appealed. But this time, the accused is a private citizen; which
means Mr. Trump may have solid legal grounds for an appeal should this fiasco go
south on him.

*In my opinion; the United States government is behaving like uneducated
hillbillies in this matter, and I can't help but wonder what the rest of the world is
thinking about our stability right about now.

I live in the UK, and have watched the news from the United States avidly throughout President Trumps office until now, and I can understand why the congress has taken this decision to bring Mr Trump to court on this matter. We have been horrified by the way certain of the American People have been manipulated by their former president, and the unrest and disquiet it has caused worldwide. His latest behaviour which resulted in the march upon congress is a matter of visible record, and he has damned himself by the words of his own mouth.

God knows his heart and I pray that His will will be done in relation to Mr Trump: and that the damage he has inflicted on the minds and hearts of the American people will be healed.

I wonder if the news media in the UK is like the usa, and that is nothing more then a machine for the NWO to program people into thinking the way the want us to think,

Trump was one of the greatest Presidents America has ever had. Followed through on all his promises, was Pro God, against killing babies, brought the emabassy back to Jerusalem, he was pro Israel, got our taxes down, was pro small guy, he got our country producing more oil then any other country bringing gas prices down.

We have lost the country and evil rules now, just look at the policies, they want little children to select there own gender, (and eliminate the parent in this decision), they let boys that want to be girls, playing in girls sports, they support killing babies up to 9 months in the womb.

This is all under Gods control, and warned his saints this type of thing must take place as the world becomes under the NWO. Its really amazing watching the book of revelation play out in front of our eyes.

With respect, the BBC is known and respected worldwide for the quality and truthfulness of it's reporting, so I have no reason to doubt the content of their news reports. We are in no doubt as to the nature either of the man who held the office of President prior to this one, or his presidency. I have no idea how this present, legally appointed, President will preside in his office, but I pray that God's will will be done in relation to Him and the American people under him: And may justice be seen to be done.

The news sources you watch are not reliable Chris. If you had learned to depend on the Holy Spirit more for what is truth and what is not, you would not be deceived now in your perceptions.

As far as the "disquiet it has caused worldwide", would be another reason for me to question exactly what is being communicated by the foreign news outlets, which can have so negative affect on their countries populace on what is going on over here.

As far as being "damned himself by the words of his own mouth.", you should listen to the actual speech that he gave that day and not just clips that are usually out of context to the complete message. Kind of like people sometimes do here as it pertains to Scripture! If you listen to more of his speeches, you will find that this particular one was pretty much no different than any other one he has give at any of his rally's. Being from the UK, its a bit different how and what is communicated as news consumption against what is available in the USA. I spent 13 years in Europe, 2 of which were in the UK, and the news reporting there is not as varied as it is in the USA. To give you an idea. Many people have moved to online news gathering to research their news, before formulating an opinion on what the truth of a matter is. That is why many people no longer watch the major news networks, because of the inherent liberal bias in their reporting.

So, what you accessed unless you do your own research, might not be an entirely accurate depiction of the actual events. That is why I would suggest you watch and listen to the actual speech, before you come to the conclusion that the Former President has somehow diluted/mislead people into acting against the Government in an illegal fashion. Having listened to it myself, I can only conclude that he did not, instigate a riot, or attack on the Capitol of the United States that day. I also believe that those who did attack the Capitol Bldg. on that day, should be prosecuted, but the Former President cannot be held liable for every looney that decides that they know better than anybody else, and will use force for their views to be accepted. For if this were the case, then no leader in any country, or official regardless of political affiliation is safe from being responsible for the actions of those who follow them!

The former president may not have intended that it should end so tragically, but he certainly incited the march; and through his intelligence staff would have known the kind of people that were in the crowd, and should therefore have modified his tone, and taken care to ensure that the outcome would be a peaceful one. He had been fueling the flames for months about the presidential election, before it took place and afterwards, making accusations of it having being 'stolen' from him, so it is no surprise that his followers reacted so violently in his defence.

As to the BBC's coverage of the News from America, during the four years of that presidency, the election that followed. and since, it has been to the same high standard that it is renowned for throughout the world.

We as a nation have great affection for the American people, and have been horrified by the damage the former president has inflicted upon them.

It would be wise not to judge Trump, for all you would be doing, is parroting the propaganda of the news networks you watch. And it is propaganda not that much different than that of the nazi's prior to ww2. At that time, the nazi's didnt control the bulk of the worlds news outlets, and so the truth was still out there to a large degree, despite all the nazi sympathizers, even those in the UK. Yet now, the bulk of the worlds news networks are under the control of a handful of people who are manipulating it to favor the rise of the NWO. The US is just a domino that has to fall to make the NWO supreme, and when they are supreme, you will find out the truth the hard way, knowing that you supported the rise of it. But perhaps wisdom even if too late to do anything about it, will leave you willing to support the rise of using the Holy Spirit as was intended.

It is sad to see all those who trust in words more than they should the Holy Spirit. Scripture is full of good words, but worldly news outlets are not to be trusted.

Dear Sister,
And so the differences in our two cultures Sister. What you have seen reported from the BBC, is but the tip of the iceberg to the violence that has happened in this country as it pertains to the running of this government. From the riots in the 70's during political conventions, to attacks of the State House in Wisconsin a few years ago, this is nothing new! You may have seen it as extreme mayhem, with a large number of participants, but in truth is was but a small number of those who actually participated in the rally itself! So, please don't judge us too harshly or the former President for what happened. For the majority did listen to him, but what you saw was a small majority wanting to do their own thing. Not surprising it is?

You as an English Woman would have handled the discourse differently, as others from others countries would have as well. Maybe, some even more violently, all depending upon the culture, or country. For not every country comports itself in the political arena as the English do, or Europe for that matter. Look to Russia, and you have political assassinations, and other countries their own picadillo's. This country in general is not a Globality desirous people. We want the freedom of thought, and action without the dictates that comes with being united with other countries, or having an oppressive government. So, that others have seen what happened as abhorrent. Many in this country are saying its about time, but since control of the media is from the left, and as another brother has stated, controlled for the purposes of the NWO, you won't hear it. Not that these people are condoning the violence, but rather that some people have had enough and have stood up to confront the shenanigans that has been part of the political process of this country for far too long. Definitely not an English mindset to say the least! Unless it happens to be a soccer match that is going on!

Just a tidbit of information. The points you have made, are the exact points that the liberal media here in the USA have been making daily! So, as a Brother has stated, the main liberal media is making it worse then it was, and is trying to implicate the Former President by association. Sorry, just because a few to the number who actually attended the rally, resorted to violence doesn't lay at his feet, but at those of the participants. It's what is called personal responsibility, which is lacking not only here, but many places around the World. So, as horror stricken as you and others in varied countries may or may not be, is irrelevant to the people here who are seeing the political climate with great anxiety, but with clear eyes unbiased by what others want us to believe to be true, or believe to be true.

It's common practice-- within Local, State, and Federal government, and among
private citizens --to assume that if something isn't explicitly forbidden by law, then
it's okay to do it.

I just learned recently that the 10th Amendment applies in situations like this.

"The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited
by it to the states, are reserved to the states respectively, or to the people."

The key word in that is "delegated".

In a nutshell: the federal government has only those powers delegated to it by the
Constitution. Seeing as how the Constitution doesn't delegate power to the federal
government to impeach a former President; then it has no right to.

In other words: the Constitution must say that it's okay for the federal
government to impeach a former public officer. The Constitution's silence on the
matter is not a green light to proceed, rather, it's just the opposite; which means
that if my understanding of the 10th Amendment is correct, then Mr. Trump's
impeachment is illegal and it's no more Constitutional than a necktie party.

Also-- if my understanding of the 10th Amendment is correct --then had Chief
Justice Roberts chosen to preside over the impeachment of a former president, he
would've exceeded his authority because the Constitution only delegates him to
preside over the impeachments of presidents in office.

This is really big, and if Mr. Trump's lawyers have overlooked it; then shame on
them.

Fine points Bac,if I could just piggyback a tad on this.The constitution wins on this one!! Thank God for that! The video of what happened at the White House was terrible! This went way to far! However the media was all about keeping former President Trump from running again,that is what this was really all about! Along with the Democrat Party as a whole.But get ready folks,this is far from over!!! Trump is ruthless to people who have done him wrong,he does not forget! I see him in the coming weeks having a rally to speak to his people soon.

So for the second time in the history of the United States, the Democrats declare war on their own country and again the president is blamed....The first time, a Christian president was blamed because he outlawed slavery, This time a Christian president is blamed because of lies?
