From the Christion Post June 1, 2013 " Internet postings that violate Civil Rights---such as insults and accusations against Muslims on Facebook___are subject to fedral jusiriction and possible prosecution, according to Bill Killian US Attorney for Rastern Distric of tennessee."

Question: does this limit our free speach ? How does this effect Talk Jesus ?

ANY THOUGHTS ?

Well.....when it comes to civil rights everyone is protected whether we like it or not. I see this law being drawn up to protect Muslims from radical Christians, KKK, white Pride or heritage foundation, Hate Group/Extremist Organization
White Supremacists, World Church of the Creator from promoting any RaHoWa ( Racial Holy War ) .
Since the election of President Obama more and more hate groups are springing up in this country.

As for us the church, when we begin to be prosecuted or discriminated against laws for protection hopefully will follow if demanded.

When I read the bill for myself I can better comment on this subject. If anyone here have read it and can give insight on what exactly is stated, with sources included would be helpful.

If the bill pass there's not much to worry about unless you're ignorantly using insulting language towards Muslims. You can disagree with someone's lifestyle without insulting them. The LGBT is protected under the civil rights, yet no mass imprisonment of bloggers, vloggers, youtubers, forums , sites etc. have been done, when expressing dissapproval of their orientation. Though a few years ago there was a scare among Christians fearing free speech limits on the topic of homosexuality.

If our conversations are factual, not emotional or hateful then I see nothing to fear. Again the full details of the bill have not been provided so I can only speak objectively.

I am not sure if this was a bill, but perhaps rather this US Attorny's statement. There is so much news about Muslim's and "the religion of peace". Islam's bible the Koran, states that anyone who is not a Muslim is an infidel. The Koran gives instructions on how a Muslim is to treat Christian's, Jew's. and all other non Muslim's, ... as infidels. I have read the Koran, it would behoove Christians and all non Muslim's to read the Koran. We need to know more about Islam and the teachings in the Koran. The Koran specifically states how to treat Christian's, Jew's, and other non Muslims....as infidels. I found the Koran very enlightening and informative, and I think knowing more about Islam is well worth while.

I do know that in the President has appointmented Muslim's into government jobs, and positions in his Cabinet. I pray for our President and for those who are in leadership, more then I ever have before. As Christians we need to be pray for our country, perhaps our Country has gone so far that we christians should expect God's wrath. With citizens wanting same sex couples to be legally married, and that same sex marriages are to be the Law of the land, with the same rights that hetrosexual marriage has. Our country is forcing laws, upon christians, Jew's and others, which are unbiblical. Never has our nation so completely turned against Biblical traditions with such elation. The true meaning of "Separation of Church and State" has been reversed from Ben Franklins original intention, by those who are deliberatly seeking to invalidate any Christian influence in the history and destiny of the United States of America. God help us ! Amen.

We need to be careful repeating stuff, Islamphobia is a real thing. We do not need radicals / racists/ extremist getting motivation from this Christian site.
