Vision...

I am still very new here. I only got saved last week! So please go easy on me! But one of the gifts I have that I truly do believe God gave me is the gift of Vision. And i am not talking about eye vision.
All my life, I had to be the leader of something! I always did have big dreams and asperations! Not all have come true, but I am still working on them!
Anyways, I was at church today, and I could not hear a thing my pastor was telling me (due to focus on something else). Something was just planted into my mind, and I just got so excited about, i told my pastor i just had to meet with him sometime this week. We agreeded tuesday (the 17th) and I am still so Fired up about it, I just had to share it with you folks.
I understand the value of community, and culture. Coming from a community building back ground some what, I know we can ramp up the culture at my church! Not that there isn't any culture now, but I feel it can be way better, probably due to my choleric personality (google it if you never heard of it). Once this is in place, we can really begin to spread the word of God, turn a lot of heads, and get people to see the word of God in the right light. At that point, the sky truly is the limit. Working together with consistancy can create amazing things!

Each of us has something to give and the body is incomplete without all of it's part's functioning in unity.

Since the 17th has come and gone, I was wondering the result of the meeting with the pastor.

Since choleric personality seems to be defined as "often moved to unreasonable anger...... hot-tempered..... angry and irate", I cannot see that as being a plus in your meeting.

There are reasons in scripture that the Lord seems to give leadership and leadership decisions to more mature and seasoned Christians. That said follow your heart but be ready for if not rejection perhaps disapproval. And who knows, the pastor may be in complete agreement with you. Best of wishes in all that the Lord leads you in!
