Wakeup call for Christians in the UK

I believe it would be naive indeed to dismiss islam as a force that will not effect the way we live in the future.

It might even be that the beast in Revelation 13 rises up through islam. This is looking more and more feasible as this present evil age advances. I've just read of someone who claims islam is the beast of Revelation 13. And the number of the beast said to be written on the hands and foreheads of it's worshipers is symbolic. The hands speak of the works of islam and the forehead the thoughts or agenda of islam. So all the speculation about the mark of the beast being some form of modern technology might be way off beam.

I know there are plans to make the UK an islamic state as well as other European countries. But the laws and attitudes in the UK make it more of a likely prospect for the islamists. They are already implementing their plans and taking full advantage of the situation. Woolly minded liberals and the politically correct brigade have just made it more easy for this to happen.

This is a wake up call for the people of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. Are we going to allow this vile and despicable religion to have dominion over us, for this is what they seek.

One of the great ironies of this situation is many, many Muslims are turning to Jesus in there home countries; often thousands at a single event. Some have even met Jesus and been saved doing the hajj. But here in England things don't look so good. That's why I believe the church in GB has to up the ante. Many Muslims will turn to Christ if given the opportunity.

The words of the great hymn by William Booth are as much for us today as they ever were.

It's obvious to me that radical Islam is one of the most potent, if not the most potent weapon Satan has in his arsenal for these last days. Christians 'round the world need to quit sitting on their hands and pray for all Muslims to see the truth and come to Jesus.

Prayer is always more powerful than mere bullets and bombs.

Are you sure that there is a fatwa on the minister at Kensington Temple?

I listened to the podcast. He said that he attended a meeting to discuss the rise of Islam which banned cameras due to safety reasons. But that is a very different thing to a fatwa being declared. Issues like this can be very sensitive and it is important that we are clear about facts.

I'd have to check it out, I certainly heard the the word 'fatwa' mentioned. And the pastor has been warned, by the government and the security services about saying and doing certain things. I think they feared for his safety. I suppose there is always the risk that some hot headed extremists might take it on them selves to try and kill the pastor, if not in this country them when he travels to a Muslim country.

I think at the time I heard the message, I might have been so alarmed at some of the things said, I could have misunderstood what was said. Mind you if you listened to the other recordings in the KT archives, the Bible vs Islam etc it would be consistent with Islamic doctrine to want to make an end of Christians and Jews.

In one sense it's a bit like Mine Kampf all those who had looked into it, new about Hitler's views on the Jews. But chose to put it off, until it was to late to do anthing about it.

It is a dangerous world that we live in and there are forces in it that would kill us all, both Jews and Christians if given the opportunity.

Maybe I should listen to the recording of the meeting and change what I previous wrote if needs be.

Thanks. He did mention fatwa, but from what I heard, I don't think anybody has threatened him.

Personally I believe that the greatest danger for the church is not the Islamic threat from outside, but our inability to witness to Jesus Christ as we are called to. Either way William Booth's prayer is more necessary now than when he first wrote it.

On the one hand we have the threat of Eastern religeon, without Christ, without hope, and without Salvation

On the other Global warming.

The next 5 years will be critical in both situations.

The next 30 years will be lived with the result of the next 5........But I am looking to Jesus, and His return.

The unfortunate truth is that the Christian churches in Western Nations have preachers that do not seem willing or able to motivate the people who are sitting on the premises each Sunday into becoming Christians "Standing on the promises!"
