God is a light being who lives inside another light being (Jesus Christ) When Jesus came to the earth he took upon himself a physical flesh body.
Rom 8:3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, GOD SENDING HIS OWN SON IN THE LIKENESS OF SINFUL FLESH, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:
The Amplified translation says that Jesus came in the “GUISE” of sinful flesh. A spiritual light being came to earth in the guise of sinful flesh. Jesus's true nature was hidden for who he was. On the mount of Transfiguration Jesus revealed himself to Peter, James and John of who he was.
Mat 17:1 And after six days Jesus taketh Peter, James, and John his brother, and bringeth them up into a high mountain apart,
Mat 17:2 And was transfigured before them: and HIS FACE DID SHINE AS THE SUN, and HIS RAIMENT WAS WHITE AS THE LIGHT.
Walking in the light has a connection to walking in the “light” of the knowledge a person has, and understands. A man can NOT believe (have faith) in what he does not understand! We can not believe in what we do not know, and we can not experience that which we do not believe! We can only experience what we understand, and believe in the things we know!
Spiritual understanding has nothing to do with man's brain in his head. Our physical mind was designed to understand the physical world in which our bodies are tied to. The heart of man (which is his spirit) was designed to understand the spiritual realm that our spirit is tied to.
Pro 3:5 TRUST IN THE LORD WITH ALL THINE HEART; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
Jesus said it was with the “heart” that man “understands”.(Matt 13:15) Paul said it was with the “heart” that man “believes.” (Romans 10:10)
Believing, and understanding is done only with the “heart” of man. The entrance of God's Word into man's heart gives light. That light brings “faith”, “life”, “understanding” and “vision” of a realm that is not of this world! Not only that, but light is what reveals an invisible God who is that Word, and light!!
Psa 119:130 The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple.
Pro 14:33 WISDOM RESTETH IN THE HEART OF HIM THAT HATH UNDERSTANDING: but that which is in the midst of fools is made known.
It is impossible to understand, and walk in the Kingdom of “light” without first knowing the King who rules that Kingdom!
The Bible tells us that once we get rooted, and grounded in “Love” (God, for God is Love) we will be able to “comprehend” the breadth, length, and depth, and height; of the Love of Christ that is beyond human knowledge!!
Eph 3:17 and that Christ in His love, through your faith, may make His permanent home in your hearts. You must be deeply rooted, your foundations must be strong,
Eph 3:18 so that you with all God's people may be strong enough to grasp the idea of the breadth and length, the height and depth,
Eph 3:19 yes, TO COME AT LAST TO KNOW THE LOVE OF CHRIST, ALTHOUGH IT FAR SURPASSES HUMAN UNDERSTANDING, so that you may be filled with the perfect fullness of God. (Williams)
To know the Love Christ is to know God. All revelation of the Word of God is God himself unveiling himself to the knower!
Walking in the Light is not someplace we are trying to get to, it is a place we already are! The ultimate revelation is in discovering, and then experiencing the place we already are! This is why scripture says......
Eph 5:13 But when anything is exposed by the light, it becomes visible,
Eph 5:14 for anything that becomes visible is light. Therefore it says, “AWAKE, O SLEEPER, AND ARISE FROM THE DEAD, AND CHRIST WILL SHINE ON YOU.”
Do you know why the Bible says to arise from the dead? Because we are risen from the dead, and that happened two thousand years ago!!!!
Eph 2:5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved
Eph 2:6 And HATH RAISED US UP TOGETHER, AND MADE US SIT TOGETHER IN HEAVENLY PLACES IN CHRIST JESUS:
Col 3:1 IF YE THEN BE RISEN WITH CHRIST, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.
How can a person seek those things that are above unless that person is already above where those things are that he is supposed to seek????
The very beginning of being able to “walk” in the light starts with believing where you are!!!!
