God told Israel through Ezekiel, “Behold, all souls are mine; the soul that sinneth, it shall die. But if a man be just, and do that which is lawful and right, ... Hath walked in my statutes, and hath kept my judgments, to deal truly; he is just, he shall surely live, saith the Lord Jehovah” (Ez18:4-5, 9 ASV)
God told Abraham’s son, Isaac, in Genesis 26 that he was going to confirm all the promises he gave to his father to him because, Abraham obeyed my voice, and kept my charge, my commandments, my statutes, and my laws.” Abraham was faithful to God’s law and God didn’t impute sin to his account, he counted him as righteous.Another term for counted as ....is accredited....
However If Abraham had never sinned he would not have died according to Ez 18:4.
The promise that he will live and receive the promises will be fullfilled through the ransom.
Since Abraham is not alive. we have no choice but to believe that he as all men was a sinner (Rom 5:12).
