Here is a poem from my unpublished novels.
WATCHING ANGELS
The Angels all are watching us
A fact you know is true
They look at us and scratch their heads
At the strange things we do
Sometimes they must laugh at us
Sometimes they must cry
But I’m sure that most of the time
They stare and just ask “why?”
But although often confused
At what goes on down here
You know they never give up
You know they always care
We may fill them with frustration
Or tempt them to despair
They still try to guide and protect us
To lead us to become Gods heirs
Not because we’re wonderful
Beautiful or first rate
But because God loves us
And His love for us is great
