WE ARE TAKING OUR GIFTS AND TALENTS FOR GRANTED
We are taking our gifts and talents for granted. God has bless us in numerous of ways some can dance, sing, mime, write, speak and the list goes on and on but God is not getting the glory out of our lives. Am not meaning the non believers am talking to you believers our whole purpose of being here is to” Now all has been heard; here is the conclusion of the matter: Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the whole duty of man (Ecclesiastes 12:13).” I can go a little further to say that we are here to give God glory and worship Him we were created to worship. As it is in heaven let it be on earth when you read the word especially Revelation when we read how the elders bow down and worship.
Our gifts are given to us to use to give God honor, “Whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God (1 Corinthians 10:31b).”I don’t know about you but I know I want to be a vessel of honor and not dishonor. We limit the hand of God in our lives cause we look at our strength in flesh and not look at the strength of our God. The word says in 1 Corinthian 1:27-28 “But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty; And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are:”
See when it come to God there is no logic God is a God of everything He is creator, He knows the thoughts of man the word tells us “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways," declares the LORD (Isaiah 55:8).” The word also declares in 1 Corinthians 1:25 “For the foolishness of God is wiser than man's wisdom and the weakness of God is stronger than man's strength.”
The word tells us that God weakness is more powerful than we are. We need to stop seeing ourselves and let Christ reign in our mortal bodies. In 2 Corinthians 4:10 says “We always carry around in our body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our body.” It is no longer that Nena lives but Christ living in me. My flesh cannot glory in God presence it is only when God looks down and see Christ in me am accepted. Christ is our high priest He is the reason we can approach the throne of grace (God). When we limit the power of God in our lives by not using the talents and gifts He give us to use to bring Him honor we are honoring Satan there is no in between either you sold out for God or Satan.
I cannot pretty it up this is real people who are you giving your glory, praise and worship to? You cannot serve God and money (man) the word tells you we cannot have to master so we cannot be lukewarm Christian the word say He rather you was hot or cold but lukewarm He will spue you out.
I leave this with you Joshua 24:15 says “But if serving the LORD seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your forefathers served beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the LORD." See many are called and a few are chosen. So don’t think you doing God a favor if you half way in the world and in church. The rocks can cry out for you but for me and my house I will serve the Lord.
