this is the only poem I have ever written, and it was about 6 years ago when I was 14.

I read it now and see the passion I had, and I just pray that God would restoke that passion...

We Can Change The World

Here is a child
Tears filling his eyes
He has no reason to live for
No will to carry on

No food in his stomach
Nowhere for him to sleep
He is one of many millions
We don't give a chance to live

This is the world we live in
But not how it has to be
We have the power to change it
But never take the time

What do we really live for
For God or for ourselves
We need to ask the questions
What would Jesus do in our place

We need to show compassion
That’s what Jesus Christ would do
Some people need a smile
And others need lots more

We can change the world
We have everything it needs
It needs the love of Jesus
And Jesus lives in Me
