Weapons

The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world.
We are to apply Scripture to our lives and line ourselves up with Scripture.
One weapon is knowing the truth.......

Today we have so much to come against us and I thought this may be a learning tool for us and me too, would appreciate your output on this subject.
I did search for lessons on Warfare but I didn't find nothing here, but again I am kinda new and don't know my way around much on this site.

God Bless you Trish....and thanks for your post. I gree much is against us today as we follow Jesus.

Paul said "that he pressed toward the mark....." He focussed on the Lord Jesus as he lived out each day. "pressing tward the high calling of God in Christ Jesus"

Nothing has changed ......we still follow the Master in an alien world. Jesus said "Fear not I have over come the world" And in Jesus we triumph as we walk the Christian walk.

Thank you Stephen for the verse and what a wonderful scripture it is.
Sometimes in our walk we have to identify what is the (stronghold) that may hinder oneself and sometimes you can only find it through pray or through scripture to know how to defeat it.

The devil greatest weapon is "deception" but God is truth.
For example: Sometimes God let you know to praise his name through a trial one may be going through or take the Word of God and his promises and stand upon it.

I remember years ago I had a stronghold but really did not know now to fight it because I didn't know what the stronghold was in my life. When you know what it is, you know how to fight it.

I guess that is why I thought maybe writing down some stronghold may help someone identify what is happening and through the Word of God get victory.

Some stronghold like: fear,
lying spirit (not the type that you lie but the type that speaks to you that you are not good enough) and etc.

I just thought it may be good to right some down and definitely the sciptures that can help one through it. Like the scripture you quoted, Pressing toward the mark."
