Dear Brother,
Things can start out with the positive, like in the case of Mr. Noland Arbaugh, a 29-year-old man who was paralyzed from the shoulders down, probably never in his wildest dreams did he think that he'd be doing what he now can do after his driving accident. As most things that can fill a need, there will always be things that will done that will distort/pervert humanity into an area of life that was never thought of when first started.
When I see these advances, what brings to mind is the following verse:
Then the LORD God said, "Behold, the man has become like one of Us, to know good and evil. And now, lest he put out his hand and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live forever"-- Genesis 3:22 NKJV
With the Love of Christ Jesus, thanks for sharing!
