What does the bible say about people like me?

Greetings, I would like to take a survey of biblical and christian perspectives on the following issue, warning the issue is about sex and gender in nature, and may be offensive, though it is not my wish to offend. I really want to know what you think.

The issue:
I was born Intersexed,[you can find this phrase on Wikipedia] specifically with Partial Androgen Insensitivity Syndrome.
I only found this out a few years ago, but it make sense. My history around the issue is, simplified and as non offensive as I can make it:
1. I was born without the primary characteristics of either boys or girls.
2. My parents decided to raise me as a boy
3. I received hormone treatment, and then surgeries to make my body that of a functional male baby.
4. when I hit puberty I developed as a male.
5. I found out I was intersexed when I was twenty two.

Since then I have made peace with the confusion as to my gender that I experienced growing up, and still experience. At the moment I only think of myself as playing a male for the benefit of society.

I have some questions though, please answer from your experience of the bible, and form your beliefs. I am grateful for responses.

question 1. Why did God make me this way? What purpose does my intersexuality have in society and my spiritual life?
2. If you think I should have a single gender, how would the bible have me determine it?
3. If I should have a single gender, why?
4. If I have niether male or female gender, would it be sinful for me to act on the human desire for love and romantic companionship?
5. If I have male or female gender, can any romantic act I perform be considered homosexuality?
6. Is it sinful for me to breed and have childern, knowing they might have my condition.
7. am I human? This quesiton is important.

The Holy Spirit (who is given to those who believe) will guide the individual to obedience by his word.

Every other sin a person commits is outside the body, but the sexually immoral person sins against his own body. 19 Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? But why not help him instead of throwing verses regarding condemnation and obedience...? Jesus our Counselor would've given advice, not condemn someone for asking a question.

I felt that His love and passion called me here on this site to help poor, scared people like this person to figure out themselves. Thank you sir knight, for your compassion. I was not intimidated by the other post, I just didn't find it to be helpful.
Please make no assumption as to my past afiliation with Buddhism. Since my first post a lot has changed in my life not least of which was my discovery of my intersexuality.
My beliefs these days are more ambiguous than that first post showed, owing a lot to the attention and thought paid to my gender identity.
Perhaps I want to be saved, I don't know. Will being saved answer my above questions once and for all?
That is why I asked them, so I would know how Christianity would treat this part of my life.

Conversion is crap. It is religious in nature and I personally hate religion. It is like "fire insurance" that is meaningless.

What does matter is the words of Jesus. The passage from John chapter three is a conversation in the middle of the night between Jesus and a religious leader Nicodemus. It is the passage where Jesus explains that we must be born again.

As for Partial Androgen Insensitivity Syndrome, I am not a doctor and I am not God and It is not my decision as to whether someone else is techniquelly male or female or neither or both. But I do know Jesus loves us all and provided the way to freedom. The passage seen as "condemnation" is for those that are condemned already because they reject Jesus. The passage is truly about love and redemption.

True, He did speak those magnificent words. But Jesus would never want to keep His children away from His Salvation.. He expects us to try and be helpful like Him just as He was friends with groups of sinners such as harlots, thieves, liars, murderers, etc. So why not offer some of your own advice since we are man CREATED IN GOD'S IMAGE, meaning that we can love, forgive, and try to help just like Him. But you are right, those are His words, but we should also offer human advice so he can be more welcome into our beliefs.

You cannot be a Christian without converting, and the only way you can truly convert is by baptizing in the name of Jesus, and to ask the Holy Spirit to fill in your life with happiness and joy, more so that the Lord Himself shall open His arms to you and ascend with Him in Heaven after you die. There is nothing wrong with Religion;it's just that all those other Religions like Islam, Judaism, Hindu, Buddhism, and other are all FAKE, and they all advocate to Satanism and are against our Lord Yahweh. We Christians follow the ONLY TRUE Religion out there. In order to get to Heaven, you must follow the Lord's Ten Commandments and all other rules by only Him.

Holy Knight it seems you have a Jesus plus philosophy. Meaning that Jesus' sacrifice is not enough you have to jump through religious hoops too like following "the rules".

A relationship with Jesus is not about rules or where we go when our bodies die, It is about a living loving all consuming daily fellowship with God. Loving Him above all and loving each other. If we have to jump through religious hoops then Jesus died in vain. But He did not die in vain! and He is risen and lives and loves and guides and redeems. The privilage of being with HIm for eternity is bonus!


Helios condition is a genetic birth defect. Hard as it must be to endure the scrutney of society, it must be harder still to constantly question who you are. I know that God by His Holy Spirit gives us grace to endure. He has the answers to all of Helios' questions. I don't and my opinion does not factor into it at all.

I did find a passage that I would like to share that may help answer the question "why". It is John chapter 9 and is the "answer" to "why was he born that way"

John 9:1 As he passed by, he saw a man blind from birth. 2 And his disciples asked him, Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind? 3 Jesus answered, It was not that this man sinned, or his parents, but that the works of God might be displayed in him.

We all have "infirmities" and challenges, some more intense than others but If Helios genuinely seeks to know Jesus and have a daily personal relationship with Him then God will be glorified in his life.

I apologize for those in advisory positions who lack the inner fortitude to stand for truth and not be ashamed
for the actual role that God presides over. Do you actually think that God creates such? I don't! If he did, then

There you have it, the abnormality could only come from the devil, so he enticed the parents to burn in lust. James 1:14-15=
"But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth
forth sin; and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death." See, the scripture plainly states where such conditions

We all have issues to deal with. I would never make light of yours and I am sorry for the pain you have been dealing with.
