I wonder if you can help me with somethink? all of today (18th aug 2013) I have bin wondering what this mean and I feel sure its in the bible somewhere??. what does it mean when Jesus/ God said '' what have you one for your fellow man''. I'm dieing to know what it means. is it somethink to do with help people or somethink to do with our life??? or somethink else . please can you help. thanks . God bless.

I did a search for the words in an online bible search program... "what have you one for your fellow man'' and found nothing. It doesn't make any sense to me, and I would guess its either a clerical error, or you misread it somewhere. Perhaps its "What have you DONE for your fellow man"? (although that search didn't show up either).

hello. thanks for your reply however I Did Not misread it somewhere . I got it from a christian video I was watching and this man has a near death experience. (and no its not fake in anyway . it was a true story) he went to heaven and he met jesus and jesus said to him '' what have you done for your fellow man'' . so maybe someone can tell me what it means? . as I've said I'm dieing to know.

I believe it means what has he done for Jesus. Because God when he speaks he's real like he tell you something weather you want to hear it or not. Maybe he hasn't done right and God is telling him so.

I would suggest staying away from video's like this.
Instead immerse yourself in the true word of God, the Bible and seek out the infallible truths found there.

Consider this verse along with the words you ask about:

"Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves." Philippians 2:3

The verse means that we need to care about other people more than we care about ourselves. Isn't this what Jesus practiced when He lay down His life for us?
