What Fruits Do You Bring Forth?

Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles? Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Therefore by their fruits you will know them.
- Matthew 7:15-20

What kind of fruits do you bring forth? We must examine ourselves!

Do you need a list of good fruits? Otherwise I would just be bragging about my fruits, and my spirit says that not wise. The greatest fruit we can bring forth is new converts to the faith in Christ. There are many others as well, loving your neighbor, a reputation as being honest, hard working, etc.

Hi brother @Brad Huber,
A list of good fruits is not needed. I would love for my brothers and sisters in Christ to continously examine themselves to ensure that they are very well bringing forth good fruit. However, bringing new converts to the faith of Jesus Christ is a great example!

There is only good fruit, bad, and no fruit.
We could go to Galatians 5:22-23; and pick out a specific fruit, but it's doesn't say fruit(s) with an s (plural).
It only says fruit. (singular). Either you have it, or you don't. You can't really pick the ones you like and ignore the rest.
It's an all or none thing.

Hi brother @B-A-C,
Very well stated! I agree. If you look at my reply to bro. Brad, you will notice that I stated, "I would love for my brothers and sisters in Christ to continously examine themselves to ensure that they are very well bringing forth good fruit." Sadly, many don't have it. Which is why we must continously examine ourselves.

Lam 3:40; Let us examine and probe our ways, And let us return to the LORD.

1 Cor 11:26; For as often as you eat this bread and drink the cup, you proclaim the Lord's death until He comes.
1 Cor 11:27; Therefore whoever eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner, shall be guilty of the body and the blood of the Lord.
1 Cor 11:28; But a man must examine himself, and in so doing he is to eat of the bread and drink of the cup.
1 Cor 11:29; For he who eats and drinks, eats and drinks judgment to himself if he does not judge the body rightly.

2 Cor 13:5; Test yourselves to see if you are in the faith; examine yourselves! Or do you not recognize this about yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you--unless indeed you fail the test?

Gal 6:3; For if anyone thinks he is something when he is nothing, he deceives himself.
Gal 6:4; But each one must examine his own work, and then he will have reason for boasting in regard to himself alone, and not in regard to another.
Gal 6:5; For each one will bear his own load.
Gal 6:6; The one who is taught the word is to share all good things with the one who teaches him.
Gal 6:7; Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, this he will also reap.
Gal 6:8; For the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life.
