Well today and yesterday I was been talking to a Muslim folks and stuff and yesterday I saw a video that a muslim a guy name Dedaat and he invited a pastor to this conversation with alot of muslims around and he was on stages and it was like a Vs. type a thing but this muslim guy had so much wisdom and that he ask this pastor a question and the muslim guy ask him what God mean in Greek because he was like-

Oh about Christian Bible has greek books but the pastor got the answere wrong of what God means in greek which it was sad and the pastor look like he was ashame with a nerves smile and I was sitting there like hmmmmmm? The muslim guy said it is in Hebrew. But I no God means Elohim in Hebrew but in Greek it means Theos but I would ask him this guy a question what God mean in arabic???

As you can see he would say "Allah"

I would disagree because that means a new moon God and its pagan...:lightbulb

The real word for God in Arabic is "Eloh" very different from the word Ilah:shade:

I think most muslim would froze or maybe not but for real man why did this pastor got it wrong made the Christian look pretty bad front of alot a Muslims people.....:omg: :secret: :embarasse :lightbulb

I think thats the devil trying to get you anger but if that was me i be like nah I don't care you could say all you wnat but as long i got Christ I no what is my God is all about!!!

When Jesus was stuck...

God is love.... 1 John 4:8b

What did Jesus say when He was stuck on the cross, mocked and in open shame?
Look it up, and see what He said, besides the words He used.

And speaking of Jesus on the cross let us consider the love of God, and tell me in any language what God means.

I thank God that in His Word he tells us that there will be those who use clever words and let me assure you that if any man seeks God, no matter what language he speaks or understands, that man will find Him, and know Him, and for me, I'd much rather know a person than just know all the language definitions of his name. How about you?
If the folks in question are serious about defining God, and really want to understand Christianity, they will continue in reasoning, in debating, asking questions, until they discover what they look for.

We're not here to outsmart the world, but to show forth the glory of God in Christ Jesus the Lord, in our life, every day , in love towards each other, as living stones, in service to the King of Kings.

Agree with me in request to God that this pastor you speak of is not crushed by this experience, but rather strengthened, justified by the blood of the Lamb, to the Glory of God, Amen.

Bless you!

The pastor need not be ashamed or feel bad if he goes blank when such questions are asked.Knowing the Greek or Hebrew meaning of God or some other xtian terminologies is just pure theology and religious study that might be devoid of the true knowledge of WHO exactly God is!knowing God is more than being verse in Greek and Hebrew for God really is a spirit...
