God was righteous as far as He grew. But it was time for him to grow some more in the desire He had. To meet actually with the Living God. Thus God allowed for all of that to happen with Job to give Him the desire of His heart. God used that evil spirit in Job's Life for that Purpose. To have a Greater Relationship with Job which both of them desired.
Job 42:
1 Then Job answered the Lord, and said,
2 I know that thou canst do every thing, and that no thought can be withholden from thee.*n1
3 Who is he that hideth counsel without knowledge? therefore have I uttered that I understood not; things too wonderful for me, which I knew not.
4 Hear, I beseech thee, and I will speak: I will demand of thee, and declare thou unto me.
5 I have heard of thee by the hearing of the ear: but now mine eye seeth thee.
6 Wherefore I abhor myself, and repent in dust and ashes.
And of course this is the soul Purpose of our "Abba Father/Daddy" to allow for "bad things" to happen to us. It is actually for our own Good. Where our Greatest Good from Him is in stopping to speak so much and starting to ask Him to teach us. Every True Child of God has this desire. And all that happens in its Life is to manifest the Reality of this Desire which is God's Desire too. Where Both God and Child enjoy the Great Relationship in Jesus of Daddy and Child in Love of His Holy Spirit.
