Dear Waggles,
The example used for Orthodoxy in the West vs East is in my eyes a false argument. Then again, the only acknowledged church that the Orthodoxy Church in the East I'm sure even comes close to accepting/acknowledging is the one in Rome! I'm sure they don't even consider Protestantism as being valid in any way shape or form, just like Rome doesn't see it as being valid either!

The East/West Orthodox Churches kind of reminds me of how Islam is split between Sunni & Shia. As far as each is concerned their faith only revolves around like beliefs. Anyone else really doesn't count!

Thanks for sharing. It really reminded me on how Orthodoxy in both the West & East see each other, and how their belief is so similar that as far as the Faith in Christ Jesus is concerned, they're the only ones who carry the true banner of belief! The brush they use to paint where they stand is a very wide one in these type of arguments. It leaves everyone else regardless of belief under the same Orthodoxy of belief as far as governance/influence is concerned, be they in the West or East!

Thanks for sharing brother! Nice reminder that we are in this World but not of it, like these churches are.

The OP certainly provides food for thought, and another perspective to consider, and for that I thank you.

What I desire is that God's will be done, God's perspective is one born of foreknowledge, He knows the end from the beginning, and has warned us of what to expect towards the end of the age. Each individual nation will be judged in that day, and every knee shall ultimately have to bow before His rule and authority. He will rule in righteousness, and bring in a new heaven and a new earth in which dwells righteousness.

I bow to His greater knowledge, and just pray that His will be done.

Look who supports Ukraine. Soros. Gates. Pelosi. Biden. Harris.
