What should I do with myself?

I'm near the finnish line, when if comes to my one year program at college. (Which pretty much consisted of College level science courses). But I have come to a "dead end." I do not have the slightest clue, what I want to become!
So I have decided to take the next year off, hoping to figure out what career I should strive for, and the education required..
Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I should figure this out?
I mean, I know what I like to do, and dislike...but I doubt I'm going to have an epiphany one day, and figure it out!
-or what do I have to do to find my calling?

Seek Him first, then all things will be added, amen. Jesus help her see of which way to go with this in her life, and to hold her in Your loving arms, and to stand fast, until all necessary directions have been sifted out as clean and clear. Which direction were you seeking in the first place?

I havent' a clue, my direction. But I do know that I would not want to work for a corrupt organization, or have to persuade people into buying things they don't need!

Hi of the Rose.
Maybe here is a little help. Consider why you took the science courses, did you seek the Lord's direction prior to taking them. Are your desires leaning towards anything related to what you were learning? Pray about this, ask the Lord for guidance in this area.

"For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord,
Plans to give you hope and a future
You will seek me and find me
when you seek me with all your heart."Jer:11

Blessings

God's guidance

I did not consider the Lord's direction before taking those science courses!
I just wanted to make sure that I could get into more post-secondary programs, by having more science under my belt. (did not take many science classes in high school).
and yes! I do believe that God has great plans for all of our futures... I guess I just need more patience, and need to trust him more with my life.

Mat 28:18-20 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

We are all called to be full-time disciples of Jesus. We are called to "Go" and teach all of Jesus' sayings. Keep this in mind and remember to be guided by the Word because:
Psa 119:105 Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.

Try fasting and spending pure solitude time with GOD in prayer. That's a big thing to help you. If you truly seek for answer from GOD, you can save yourself a year of frustration and confusion of what to do next

Thank you, everyone, for your advice!
I will surely use your suggestions.

It seems pretty exciting to let God guide my future career decisions. Because, what God has planned for each of our lives, is way greater than whatever we can dream up!

My anxiety is slowly transforming into excitement, and anticipation.

One thing I know for sure Rose is that you will enjoy life most doing something that you love doing. Whatever you love doing, make it your life work. I am late in life deciding but I am making music my life work, whatever is left of it, and I am happy and the excitement is wonderful. Go for what you love to do.

I am very happy to say that I have found a few opportunities to find out what I would like to do. I went to a health and wellness fair, at the college during my break, and I discovered many volunteer opportunities!

I received many phamplets, and spoke with many people regarding rewarding ways I could spend my time. I am thinking about visiting lonely hospital patients, being a mentor to young girls (in regards to self-esteem, and health), or working with the disabled.

so many options! (and to think that there are so many more, I have yet to come across..)

But I guess only God:love: , and time will tell what my Career will be.
