what should i do

Hi all,i haven't lived a good lif for God even when He has remained faithful to me in all ways.I I have lived a sex sinful life where am not married but going out with my girl friend and also having with my own body.
I have tried so much to get rid of it but i have failed ,what should i do.I pray and then get back into the same stuff.Cry to God again and again but still sin. i don't want to give up of God at any sinlge moment but with all that i find myself so far away from Him.Help please

I would recommend true repentance of course and then it could be helpful for you to take a Bible study that helps us get to know God and Who He is and how to combat and battle against lust. It's at www.settingcaptivesfree.com and is recommended by many good Christian ministries including Dr. John Piper's 'Desiring God' ministry. It was helpful to me to know how to fight against the world,the flesh and the devil and to know God more so that I would love and desire HIM more than sin, lust or otherwise.

Galatians 5:19

19The acts of the sinful nature are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery;

1 Corinthians 6:18

18Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a man commits are outside his body, but he who sins sexually sins against his own body.

I suggest you post a prayer request in the proper forum. Many in Christ will pray for you. I will also pray for you for there is no greater weapon against evil than the power of prayer to GOD.

There's a good book, I think it's called "Victory over the Darkness" by Neil Anderson. He has also written others in the series about overcoming through Christ. I'd recommend reading them.

I'd advise getting a good acountability partner, some one who you can trust with anything, who will confront you when they see sin in your life, and will challenge you to be a better person and always push you towards jesus christ.
