Jesus's always said:
I am a christian and try to live my life like one.
I try to be aware of everything I do and honor God.
I was just wondering what christian are supposed to talk about and not talk about?
In the bible God blessed Isaiah's mouth, right?
Yes, God did bless Isaiah's mouth (Is 6), but He did not download a software program of topics into his brain and require him to stick to the scripts. Remember, the OT prophets and the 1st century disciples were ordinary people that God used to do extraordinary things. They all had trades that they worked at to bring in money. Peter, James, and John were professional fishermen. When you read John 21, you find that they were still plying that trade after Jesus' resurrection. The apostle Paul depended upon his skills as a tentmaker (2 Thess 3: 7-8) because he didn't want to be a burden to that church.
They were regular people living and working among regular people. If they were with us in the 21st century, they would be discussing sports and politics like we do. The churches they began were small groups that met in peoples' homes. These groups began with relationships that developed through conversation with friends, neighbors, and co-workers. For the most part, they waited for Holy Spirit prompted opportunities to share their faith with others. They relied on the prompting of the Spirit as to what to say and when to say it (Lk 21: 12-17).
For you, witnessing to others is very risky, I know. You, too, need to rely on the Holy Spirit for what to say, when to say it, and to know who to say it to.
God is overjoyed at your desire to spread His Good News.
May God bless you in abundance.
