I was wondering if people could give me some advice or Bible Scritures on something. Please Seek the Holy Spirit.
I just wanted to know how you can I guesse get a relationship with God when there is a spiritual hurdle in the way. Something that needs to be torn down. Now I am aware of these hurdles. and over time they have grown bigger and wider. I have sought God on the hurdles. And it is rather frustrating as I just want my relationship with God back, but is very difficult. this has been going on for about a year now. It feels as though one big circle. I have cried out to God. But I feel no progress. I do not doubt Him in any way. He is my everything and my life exists only to worship HIm. So I guesse what I'm asking... what do I do? I'm spiruatually exhausted. the enemy attacking from left and right and I feel as though I am constantly fighting the wrong battles. I would appreciate it if you all could pray as I need it. Thank you

Hi there dear sister

Have a look here: http://www.talkjesus.com/lounge/11909-call-these-numbers.html#post70067

Lots of helpful scriptures.

Our battle is not against flesh and blood but against principalities and rulers of the air.
Eph.6
10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. 11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age,[c] against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. 13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

14 Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, 15 and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; 18 praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit,
being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints— 19 and for me, that utterance may be given to me, that I may open my mouth boldly to make known the mystery of the gospel, 20 for which I am an ambassador in chains; that in it I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.

He that is in us is greater than he that is in the world. 1 Jn.4.4

The battle belongs to the Lord.

We have the victory and we are overcomers.
1 Cor.15
57 But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
1 Jn.5
1 Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God, and everyone who loves the father loves his child as well. 2This is how we know that we love the children of God: by loving God and carrying out his commands. 3This is love for God: to obey his commands. And his commands are not burdensome, 4for everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith. 5Who is it that overcomes the world? Only he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God.

Make sure you put on the armour of God each day. Eph.6.10

I find it really helpful to listen to praise and worship music. It really lifts the spirit.

I pray that you will read the Bible and it will come alive to you as it is living and active and sharper than a double edged sword. Heb. 4.12

God bless you

You have my prayers in your struggle but dont underestimate your faith. You are very brave to be able to express your total trust in the Father despite setbacks.Be assured NO prayer goes unanserwed. We may not get what we ask for but we will get what is right for us.It may come in an unexpected manner but God loves us so much that He has given us His pledge to guard, guide and protect us at all times. When I am troubled I close my eyes , ask the Father to grant my prayer and imagine I see Him there before me Blessing my prayer. Then I thank Him and from that moment my prayer becomes His and I leave it to Him to give me the right answer. He has not failed me and He never will. Persevere dear friend.I am praying for you now that God will help you and reveal His answer to you in a real and pragmatic way soon.Amen.

Dear 4him22

The shepherd wants to guide the sheeps more than the sheeps wants to follow the sheperd.

God always waits his childrens to come to him with open loving hands.
Jesus loves you just us you are.

Praying for you

Hello there my Christian friend! I feel you. There are times in my life when I feel as though God is no longer listening to my prayers, but in reality He is just testing my faith. He allows us to feel that way to see if we turn the other way thinking He's not with us. But keep in mind, the bigger the trial, the bigger the testimony. For the past week I've been feeling spiritually disconnected, but then last night I went to Bible study and heard such an awesome word that made me feel spiritually recharged! :star: And that's what we must do in the times of trial- literally saturate ourselves with the Word of God! Faith comes from hearing and hearing the Word of God so keep in mind that it's a two part battle. We can spend 8 hours a day praying, but if we don't read the Word frequently, we won't have any faith! I'll keep you in my prayers friend. Just keep swimming! You're doing great! God Bless!!! :messenger

Thank you and God Bless you for your responces and prayers. I agree 100% its important we spend time in the Word everyday.

What I have come to realize in the last couple of days is that we tend to fight the wrong battles. We spend all this time on a battle, when we should be working or focusing on something in the opposite direction. I find that is what the enemy tries to do. He wants us to get our attention or focus on something else that doesnt really matter. And the result is we get spritiually exhausted, mentally, emotionally physically exhausted.

I felt as though it was so much more difficult then just praying and reading. That it wasnt that easy to get through this. But again, it is a lie. It is not difficult, because there is one answer and its simple. JESUS!

Thank you again. Ive learned from this though. It is very easy to get distracted and the enemy is always looking for a way to get his foot in the door. Stay in the Word, stay in the Lord and trust in Him. Even though times it may seem difficult. But its the only way. Its the right way!

Amen 4him22, I praise the Lord for answered prayer. This is exactly what the enemy wants - to keep you distracted. As it says in Romans 12:2 "... but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God." Only by renewing our minds can we find out what God wants. Praise the Lord, Greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world. :sun:
