in the presentation of a mans life & works, at the funeral of a non-

Christian where God's name was used frequently & Jesus more than

once.???

Was he there??

Isn't it better though that God was mentioned than not? Just the fact that they did acknowledge Him regardless of whether MJ believed or not, was good.

It was more after the manner of the wanna-be Christians Christ described in Luke 9:57-62. They desperately desire to put their hand to the plough, and speak much love with their mouth; but their heart is after their selfish desire, for they continually are looking back, without having even took hold of the plough.

Mentioning His Name can be good. But my fear is that in by doing so, it will create a belief in the unsaved that such behavior from the one in question, is acceptable Christian behavior. Though I suppose it all depends on how Jesus was presented.

At the start, non believers already hold such beliefs of christians, thanks to abuse of children by the catholic church and many other incidents that proclaimed christians have done to prove these kinds of views.
Also, how do you know for sure that he wasn't a christian? I do know that he has acknowledged God in several of his songs, and was truly a philatropist. I feel this post doesn't hold much weight in the speculation of values pertaining to MJ, when there are now millions of artists who show no values at all.
