When and how do we stand up for Christian beliefs?

What is the difference,or is there a difference,between Christian tolerance and caving in to anti-Christian ideas? Is there a way to stand against these different ides or do we give in to anti-Christian ideas for the sake tolerance or acts of love? When do Christians' know when to act or accept? What is the practical answer to his conundrum? I am not talking about rendering to Caesar what is Caesar and God's what is God's. I am talking In terms of living in "peace" and spreading the gospel in a practical way on the Earth until we die....as it is on Earth as it is in Heaven

For me it is simple
Walk in Love at all times which includes forgiving even if we are in the right.
Work hard to be at peace with every one the best we can. Dont let it be US that is the reason there is no peace.
If I have to truly question if it is a good thing then most likely it is not - However- as we grow in Christ wee begin to learn better and better what and where to draw the line.

We must obey the laws of the land - until they violate Gods ways. Then we must seek Him for guidence.
Simply strive to be as Jesus was and is. Love even as God Loves and Jesus Loves.

if a black & white personality = you rebuke everything not glorifying God of the Bible
if a gray/grey personality = you try to minister in everything not glorifying God of the Bible
i suggest Abraham, King David, Apostle Paul, David Wilkerson, Billy Graham are black & white personality

their behavior reflects they don't respect you, cut your conversation short...and when they leave you, pray for them to turn or burn

I am black and white personality. I believe that God does not do anything for me unless it could of happened anyway. I believe He does this to test my faith choice. Also, that way there is no gray area for me. Any Good thing that happens is of God and even some not so good things too. God favorite thing is to turn bad into good. He gets the glory no matter what....period, end of sentence.

By the way, I like your point about it's not us. It is truly the deceiver that continues the evil in the world. And,he is a lion going around now. We must stay the course

this may the wrong thread to share this, but i learnt only 2 yrs ago (christian for donkeys) that i was black and white personality.

in an accountable mens group, we all agreed to "what's in here, stays here". year later i was speechless when something i said in this group was told to a wife. then all other in group said "of course, important stuff here stays here"...our colours were different!

We don't have to cave in to ungodly laws or the majority's ideas and ideals, but we do have to love people. They don't have what we have. They don't have the insight or spiritual wisdom or knowledge that we do, so they cannot understand what the truth is, and we don't have to be overly concerned about that lack of understanding. We just have to love them. It's that love of Christ that makes the impact it is created to do.
