How about a little context - II Thess 1:7-10:

7 And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels,

8 In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:

9 Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction ("Judgment of the Ages" in greek) from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power;

10 When he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be admired in all them that believe (because our testimony among you was believed) in that day.

Not hearing much about II Thessalonians 1:10 these days, anyone up for an interpretation?

2Thess 1:10 when he comes on that day to be glorified in his saints, and to be marvelled at among all who have believed, because our testimony to you was believed.
11 To this end we always pray for you, that our God may make you worthy of his calling and may fulfill every resolve for good and every work of faith by his power,
12 so that the name of our Lord Jesus may be glorified in you, and you in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.

The marriage feast when the saints will rise up to meet Jesus in the air (both the dead in Christ and those alive) just prior to His feet touching down on Mount Olivet.

John 17:9 I am praying for them. I am not praying for the world but for those whom you have given me, for they are yours.
10 All mine are yours, and yours are mine, and I am glorified in them.

1Cor 15:51 Behold! I tell you a mystery. We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we shall be changed.
53 For this perishable body must put on the imperishable, and this mortal body must put on immortality.

Matthew 24:27 For as the lightning comes out of the east, and shines even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
28 For wheresoever the carcass is, there will the eagles be gathered together.

@Fragrant Grace -
You didn't give me a chance to reply and cut off my ability to reply on the thread "Are you in denial of Christ's Coming" -
No one would admit they are in denial, until II Thessalonians 1:10 is broached.

Which is why this thread is so utterly quiet -
It's not winning an popularity contests is it - which I never aspire to anyway.
When the TRUTH really manifests, then watch the denial set in, even from the most seemingly astute sorts.
Is that indelicate and offensive to you?
