Chaco, I am going to outline how we are born and how we received sin. Sorry if it's a bit long.
Lev 17:11 For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul.
Natural life, called soul life, is in the blood. Sin is transmitted through the soul life and not through the physical flesh, which is simply the vehicle that manifests sin. This life which is in the blood is contributed by the ***** of the males. Soul life is carried in the seed (*****)
Chaco, up until recently, I believed that gays and lesbians were not born this way. I actaually believed that was not the truth and was led to believe they used this phrase ''I was born like this'' as an excuse, well I was completely wrong. After recently reading a book, everything came to light on how sin sets in us, including homosexuality. It was a real eye opener to me, and has helped me in understanding, what is sin and how it sets in all of us.
Jesus died for you and your sin, and we need him. Jesus had perfect blood, Jesus' blood was completely sinless and it's the blood of Jesus that cleasnses us from our own sin. Jesus did not have an earthly Father, Jesus' Father, was God Almightly, and God Almighty is perfect right?
The umbilical cord is connected to the baby at the point where the baby’s belly button will be. It contains three blood vessels, one to carry oxygenated blood and nutrients from the mother to the developing fetus, and two to convey deoxygenated blood and waste products back to the placenta. The vessels are surrounded by a gelatinous substance that prevents kinks and knots from developing. The fetal heart, beating regularly by the fourth week, drives the blood to and from the placenta. While much passes in both directions between the mother and baby, their bloodstreams do not mix. Instead the mother’s blood flows into the placenta and surrounds the branching blood vessels that belong to the baby. Tiny molecules of nutrients and waste are exchanged between mother and baby by passing across the porous walls of the blood vessels.

(Rom 5:11) And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement.
1Jo 1:7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
Chaco, you have acknowledged your sin. This is a great step. Try not to be to hard on yourself. Take one day at a time, and don't think about tomorrow, just deal with today and get through that day.
Spend much time in prayer and in the God's Word, sacrifice other things and spend time with God. Cry out to our Heavenly Father and ask Him to help you. Ask Him to help change you. We need to renew our minds and that takes time.
Rom 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
