Where are you going?

Rom 8:14-15 My fellow brothers and sisters,where are we going? And why do we in many ways go through life not knowing where we are headed? I have found it most necessary to look to always be led rather then take the lead in my life. For in the times I did look to tell the" Lord it's all right I got this",the only thing I did have was sand drifting through my own hands!

Then telling the Lord "how could you have missed it??" lol So what are we to learn through this terrible time we are all going through? ( Gen 50:20) I do not receive many of what you and I would call revelations from the Lord Jesus,but I am aware of why and how he looks to lead us,and that is what I would like to share with you all,so that perhaps you have something you may wish to consider.

( 2 Tim has four chapters,and in these four chapters we find everything we need to be aware of,and preform in order to life a peaceful Godly life. Number 1 courage!!( 2 Tim 1:12-14) 2. we must be and stay strong!( 2 Tim 2:1-5) Number 3 Difficult times will come! We are already at this point! But as for us!!! 2 Tim 3:14-17) Number 4.Preach the Word!!! Not just in words!!!!

But rather by how you personally stay led!!!! ( James 1:22) ( 2 Tim 4:1-5) And finally number 5 Your personal concerns! 2 Tim 4:17-18!!) this refers to ( Psalm 68:20 and 2 Cor 10:13) Now all we have to do is use the very faith God has given each one ( Rom 12:3)and follow his direction! Brothers and sisters, like you, I still am learning! If we do not discipline our self's to become convinced,then how can we ever lead others??

I am an elder of the church,but as one, I am sure no better then you are!! But I do know who I serve and why!! Do you?? That's the point! this is what I had to consider as well. Jesus said we are this!( Rom 8:26-38!!) We can become this only after we understand not just to endure but shown how we can always endure!! STAY THANKFUL!!! No matter what!!!( 1 Thess 5:18) we are in his very will here!!

My prayer and love go out to you all,its time to wake up from many who are still asleep!!! Rom13:11-14!!!) Its no time to hide,but rather its time to arise!! May every blessing always find you,and always find you most well in both his very word,and in your very life!! amen!

I think it is hard for many to be led by the Spirit in that they cannot separate the Holy Spirit faith from human faith. They think if they force themselves to believe something, it is faith. But Holy Spirit faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. It is a witness of the Holy Spirit, not conjured up in positive thinking.

So God moves us in the right direction by giving us faith or withholding it. Faith from God tells us our prayers are answered before we see them fulfilled.

And why do you think that is Dave L? The Holy Spirit to me is a confirmer. Hence why it is going to take our time!!! And THAT!!!!! Few are willing to preform! When I have made an error,I did not beat myself up over it. I am always going to need to learn from him! If we look at to me is the most important Chapter of the Bible 2 Tim!!!!! 4 chapters that tell us everything required of us to remain in the faith.

Chapter 1 COURAGE!!! Chapter 2 Be strong!!! Chapter 3 Because difficult times will come. (2Tim3:14!!!!)BE CONVINCED!!!!!! Chapter 4 Preach the Word,FIRST!!!!!!!! TO YOURSELF!!!!! So we can be convinced in God's Word with others,because we bear good fruit! And they will surly witness this! Is this difficult??? LOL It was for me!!!! And when I complained about this in prayer,I got back inside of me." My SON,if it were not, everyone would do it!!" But in this, we find out our self just where our relationship with our Jesus truly is! AND!!!!!!! Are we really looking to not only be led, but stay led!!

In my experience of the Holy Spirit It is much more than a confirmer.

I've had the Holy Spirit encourage me to put on certain types of clothing, namely dress shorts under my pants. And later that same day I was to witness the baptism of someone by stepping into the pool with them when they were baptized. I did not know beforehand that I was going to be involved with a baptism. But it is where the Spirit lead me.

And I have had many instances where in prayer the Holy Spirit came to instruct me about situations that required spiritual warfare.

I think it is safe to say that the Holy Spirit moves in each person differently

It is really good to see that you can recognize the voice of God within you. If I may say make sure that you learn to recognize God's peace within you as well as sometimes you will not hear the voice.

I know that you have taken a long road getting to the point where you're at. As it takes a lot of faith to recognize the voice of God within you.

Trust me when I tell you it doesn't stop there though. Because the Trinity are three and yet one. It's when you start hearing the voice of the Father the voice of Jesus the inspiration of the Holy Spirit and then the voice of the Trinity as One when you can distinguish all those it gets pretty crazy sometimes.

Thanks so much Bill. Peace which to me is the most important,is rendered here to me.( Phil 4:7-9) I have not attained perfection yet either!! LOL My Goal or should I say my Ministry lies in waking those who may be asleep.( Rom 13:11-14) I stay so Thank full to the Lord daily,and I speak my thanksgiving as well! ( 1 Thess 5:18) For in this I can say I am in his will daily!! Now how long daily is yet another story!! LOL But hey, we are a work in progress! Blessing be abundant to you.
