Hi there guys, the thread was deleted by a moderator on Talk Jesus, the reason was that the thread was not edifying people.
I think we have to respect the decision. A thread dealing with sexual addiction was created by Coconut, here's the link.

Being stupid with terms again, maybe I need to get out more . . .What exactly is "edifying people" and how was the thread not doing that? Maybe I just might learn a new word today.
BTW there was a link on there, I forget who had it, but I didn't get a chance to look at it yet. thought I could come back to the site later (but I guess not). Isn't there a way to stop further posting or something, instead of deleting everything. There was some good stuff on that thread. (Hopefully they at least notified keystonepa that they were deleting his thread, and refered him to cocnut, otherwise he might think he did something wrong.)

Hello glendale. I deleted the thread. The thread was posted by a good brother. But it went off line a little. I posted in it, and after doing so felt that I had misread the original post.
That was days ago.....Where have you been?
Seems odd to me that your first post (on your return) is looking for such, asking the question, "Where....."......Sex Addict I mean. Your second post is here with a complaint, I think........not having read the link you say, given to you by teraside.
What can we draw from all this?
You have made two post's. Both interested in the "Sex Addict" theme.
Your profile is obscure. Telling us little about you.
You need to make some redeeming claims, or we will have to make a judgement in the light of what I have said, and what you have revealed to us.

I don't know about glendale but I personally have walked the same gutters of life as keystonepa and was quite concerned about his questions and the answers that followed. When the post got deleted no one was informed and we were kept wondering. Did keystonepa get deleted also? What happened to him and his need for help? Did he feel shamed?
Coconut had strong words for keystonepa. Question is, did keystonepa feel loved and accepted by the community at large? Did anyone address his needs or concern or did he feel like an idiot for making the post and feel rejected in the name of God.
When someone is caught up in sin or addiction the one thing that person doesn't need is someone judging them. Would the same words of correction be used if keystonepa was referring to food addiction/sin?
glendale's profile was said to be "obscure telling us little about you." Perhaps mine is too. I didn't feel like opening myself up until I saw what type of people reside here on this forum. glendale asked two questions and he has to redeem himself...Why does he have to redeem himself? I think glendale revealed his concern for a brother overwhelmed with addiction/sin and was wanting to toss him a life preserver not an anchor.
I doubt that keystonepa thought to himself " I can't help doing this...i'm an addict." I think he was asking for help and got clobberd over the head with someone's opinion of God's Word and deleted. Did he feel love, accepted and forgiven? Is he a man that feels the love of God even in his sin?
I believe deleting the post does not make the problem go away and no one really came along side keystonepa in his time of need and alienated glendale. The deletion of the post and this subsequent thread asks more questions that beg to be answered... In Love of course.

Read the forum rules, read them again if you may have forgotten them.
I believe keystonepa35 received the help and support of many people and I believe he will receive more support in his life, especially on Talk Jesus.
But the fact of the matter is, there is no debating on Talk Jesus, none at all.
A moderator told you what happened, humble yourselves and accept it. Don't try and start an argument.
