The Lord Jesus led me today to read the transcript of President Donald Trump’s State of the Union Address of January 30, 2018. I got about half way through reading it when the Lord said to stop, and that I had read enough, and that it was time for me to write what the Lord thinks about it.
The state of our union, of the USA, is not the picture Donald Trump paints for the American people to believe. The picture he paints is the one he wants people to believe. But, this picture he paints is like a stage prop, which is something used in a performance (an act) for creating or for enhancing a desired effect; to enhance (strengthen) the act (pretense, deception) to make it appear more authentic (true, real) than what it truly is.
Our president appears compassionate, loving, kind, thoughtful and genuinely concerned about the American people and the people of this world. He went into great detail to describe the many tragedies, disasters, mass shootings, floods, pain, hardships, fires, and storms, etc., which took place this past year or so here in America.
And, then he went on to say that each of these situations we faced as a nation has “forged new American heroes to remind us of who we are, and show us what we can be.”
So, the Lord has given me here a picture of who we are, as a nation and government and people and church - mainly the institutional church - although certainly not describing every single individual or every individual church congregation here in America. But, for those churches who have united with this government via the 501c3, they are culpable for what our government has done and is doing here in the USA and across the world.
Who are we?
The US government, number one, is not the true government of these United States of America. We are ruled by a relatively small number of the elite, powerful and wealthy of the world, of which Donald Trump is a part. This shadow government of the elite is the de facto government of the USA. The government we believe to be our government is the prop, and it is empty of any real power and authority. Instead, it serves this shadow government in doing its bidding in bringing the world underneath the rule of the beast and a one-world religion. This is the clear vision of D. Trump.
So, who are we as a nation? Well, from the very onset of the forming of our nation we were designed to be the catalyst to bring about the rise of this beast of Revelation and to bring the world at large into submission to this beast. This is evident in our national symbols, in our national monuments and statues, in the layout of Washington, D.C., and in the eclectic and syncretistic religious beliefs involved in the founding of our nation.
This is also evident through the actions of our leaders and our military who have gone and are going throughout the world, and including within our own nation, killing, destroying, obstructing, deceiving, lying, manipulating, ravaging, raping, confiscating others’ lands and possessions, and overtaking governments via coups and via orchestrated “natural” disasters, floods, fires, storms, uprisings, terrorist attacks, and false flag operations, etc.
Many innocent people throughout the world, including many Christians, are suffering much abuse and persecution at the hands of the US government.
Although our national leaders and their military force, both public and private (secretive), are the world’s bullies and terrorists, they paint a picture of our military as our heroes who are our salvation and whom we should worship, as well as they paint a picture of themselves and our government as also worthy of our worship of them (vow of fidelity with hand over heart). And, then they paint all those opposed to them as our enemies or as the terrorists whom we are supposed to then hate and fear, but this is a lie!
So, what is their goal in all of this? Donald Trump stated it well when he said, “Tonight, I call upon all of us to set aside our differences, to seek out common ground, and to summon the unity we need to deliver for the people we were elected to serve.”
But, the “unity” he is speaking of is unity with this beast and with its one-world totalitarian government and false religion. Obama and Pope Francis preached the same message. They want us to get rid of everything which divides us as a people so that we can come together as one people, with one voice, and with one heart and mind. But, the unity is with the beast, and it means denying our Lord and rejecting his gospel, because they divide us!
On a national, governmental and church level, generally speaking, we have become grossly immoral, wicked, deceitful and deceived, idolatrous, degenerate, enslaved to sin, godless, spiritually adulterous, depraved, vile, corrupt, self-absorbed, and/or addicted to self-pleasure, oftentimes disregarding who gets hurt in the process.
As a nation, and as the church in this nation, overall, we are fallen, and we are in great need of revival and of being brought to account for our actions. Again, this is an overall picture, not describing everyone in this nation, but it is the vast majority. This is like in the days of Noah, when God had him build an ark to save lives before the Lord destroyed the earth with a flood.
Who can we be?
What I have just described above is who we are, as a nation, but who can we be? By the grace of God, we can humble ourselves before our Lord Jesus, repent of (turn from) our sins, and turn to follow our Lord Jesus in full surrender to his will for our lives, from this moment forward. Through faith in Jesus Christ we can die to what once bound us and we can walk in the Spirit in absolute freedom from the control of Satan, the flesh and sin. And, in the strength and power of the Holy Spirit now living within us, we can walk according to the Spirit in holiness, purity, righteousness, integrity, honesty and uprightness till Jesus takes us home. Amen!
The choice is ours. We can choose to unite with the beast and the flesh, or we can choose to unite with the Spirit and with righteousness. We can choose to unite with the slave woman or with the free woman. We can choose to continue to control our own lives and to do what pleases us, or we can choose to come under the control of the Holy Spirit through yielding our lives to God in full submission. If we choose the way of the flesh, we choose death, no matter what we profess outwardly with our lips. But, if we choose the way of the Spirit, and death to sin, then we choose life with God everlasting. Time is running short. Please decide today whom you will serve.
Jesus, I am Resting, Resting
Jean Sophia Pigott
Jesus, I am resting, resting,
In the joy of what Thou art;
I am finding out the greatness
Of Thy loving heart.
Thou hast bid me gaze upon Thee,
And Thy beauty fills my soul,
For by Thy transforming power,
Thou hast made me whole.
O, how great Thy loving kindness,
Vaster, broader than the sea!
O, how marvelous Thy goodness,
Lavished all on me!
Yes, I rest in Thee, Belovèd,
Know what wealth of grace is Thine,
Know Thy certainty of promise,
And have made it mine.
Simply trusting Thee, Lord Jesus,
I behold Thee as Thou art,
And Thy love, so pure, so changeless,
Satisfies my heart;
Satisfies its deepest longings,
Meets, supplies its every need,
Compasseth me round with blessings:
Thine is love indeed!
Ever lift Thy face upon me
As I work and wait for Thee;
Resting ‘neath Thy smile, Lord Jesus,
Earth’s dark shadows flee.
Brightness of my Father’s glory,
Sunshine of my Father’s face,
Keep me ever trusting, resting,
Fill me with Thy grace.
Jesus, I am resting, resting,
In the joy of what Thou art;
I am finding out the greatness
Of Thy loving heart.
Wednesday, January 31, 2018, 9:52 a.m. – Thank you, Jesus, that you are God, and that you are completely sovereign over all that you made. Thank you for your grace and mercy to us. I pray for my nation and for the church in my nation for revival, that hearts may turn away from their sin and turn to you in faith, repentance and obedience to your will and to your ways.

Who are we?
O God, insolent men have risen up against me;
a band of ruthless men seeks my life,
and they do not set you before them.
But you, O Lord, are a God merciful and gracious,
slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness.
Turn to me and be gracious to me;
give your strength to your servant,
and save the son of your maidservant.
Show me a sign of your favor,
that those who hate me may see and be put to shame
because you, Lord, have helped me and comforted me.

you have delivered my soul from the depths of Sheol.
